Inspired by the cover art of Zombie’s new album, Venomous Rat Regenera- tion Vendor, SLUG commissioned illustrator Sean Hennefer to create this tripped-out piece portraying Zombie perfecting yet another art form.

  • Hip Hop Club Songs
Hip Hop Club Songs Did you Know? The credit of coining the term 'Hip-Hop' lies with Keith 'Cowboy' Wiggins, a member of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Around 1978, he used to tease his friend who was in the US Army by singing hip/hop/hip/hop. He was mimicking the cadence rhythm of the soldiers. Initially known as Disco Rap, hip-hop music is a stylized download mp3 rocket pro free 2010 rhythmic music form which contains rapping and beat boxing as its elements. This music developed as a part of the 'hip-hop culture' in New York, particularly among the African-Americans. Today, hip hop music has become extremely popular among the masses. With the commercialization of this genre of music, a new era of talent paved its path to give music a new feel and rhythm by using words in the interim as a form of expression. Artists like Snoop Dog, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Black- Eyed Peas have popularized this particular genre even further. Certain artists, who were known for performing other genres also started experimenting with rap and hip-hop. Couple of such examples would be Beyonce and none other than the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Another factor that has added to hip-hop's popularity is that this music is ideal for nightclubs and dance floors. So, are you arranging one such party for your friends and wondering which songs to play? Then here is a list of various hip-hop club songs that you can play. ? Baby Don't Do It - Lloyd ? Best Kept Secret - Raheem DeVaughn ? Bedroom Walkin' - Ne-Yo ? Tonight - Jason Derulo ? Almost There - Alicia Keys ? Stillettos And A Tee - Bobby Valentino ? Help Somebody - Maxwell Feat.

  • Album of the Week: and So I Watch You from Afar – <I>The Endless
Album of the Week: And So I Watch You from Afar – The Endless Shimmering The Endless Shimmering by And So I Watch You from Afar Pushing the musical envelope has always been part of And So I Watch You from Afar’s forte. The instrumental experimental progressive math rock act from Belfast, Northern Ireland, use an abundance of guitar shredding and rhythms that escape the inhibitions. It’s a sound that hits on multiple levels and never lets up. Their fifth full-length album The Endless Shimmering released on Oct 20 by the Los Angeles indie label Sargent House shows the band moving forward while bringing back what made them great in the first place. The main difference between The Endless Shimmering and the past couple of albums from And So I Watch You from Afar is that they stopped doing the group chanting and singing. They went back to purely instrumental jams, much like what’s in their initial releases. There’s also a different tone that keeps the band’s raw amplification intact along with having everything sounding clearer. It’s an album that pleases the senses. The variety of progressions within each song’s structure also makes for an interesting listening experience. A band pushing their sound forward by harking back to their beginnings is unheard of these days. Usually they will keep going with whatever they discovered while making a successful album and riding the wave of its success, but musically it amounts to something that’s nothing like what they started out with. And So I Watch You from Afar reached back to their artistic origins in stunning fashion and made an album that’s brilliant.

  • Czas Na Ambient Festival!
W Gorlicach wystąpili między innymi: Manuel Goetsching, Harald Grosskopff, Hans Joachim Roedelius, Christian Fennesz, Geir Jensen /Biosphere/, Richard Pinhas, Robin Guthrie, Pieter Nooten, Kouhei Matsunaga, Andres Jankowski, Eivind Aarset, Tadeusz Sudnik, Józef Skrzek, Alex Paterson /The Orb/ oraz wielu innych muzyków z niemalże całej Europy.
