This book study/gardening group looks at memoirist Fred Bahnson writing about how growing and sharing food pulls us closer to God. In this book study, we will spend time understanding how Jesus’ teaching of the "kingdom of God” was a message that sought to awaken faith and compassion in his listeners and cause them to work for a society that treated all persons humanely and with dignity. Praying the Scriptures. On the Church Lawn, Wednesdays at 10 am. Praying the scripture is a way to understand scripture in a deeply personal way.
