With a seating capacity of around 20,000, this stadium is the largest sporting venue and the only major football stadium in Goa. Since its inception in 1989, the stadium has hosted fixtures of the I-League and is also rented out for local training sessions. The stadium houses the office of the Sports Authority of Goa.
