You will be seeing us outside the airport holding the name of TMG Adventure when you arrive in Kathmandu. If you arrive in the late evening, we will straightly take you to the hotel, and if you arrive in the day time, you will take you to our office. Meals

In Kathmandu and Pokhara we will serve you the breakfast at your hotel. You are trekking near the mountains, that is, you are trekking at a higher altitude, so your body needs energy, and you will get the energy from the food you eat. The foods that we provide you have the right amount of carbohydrate, protein, and fat. We will provide you these in all three square meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Guides

All our trekking guides have done training on how to tackle with altitude mountain sickness as well as how to use the first aid kit. They are also taught to take care of the trekkers 24/7 if they are affected by an altitude mountain sickness or if they are sick during the trek. Emergency evacuation if you need, you will be provided a helicopter. That is the reason why our guides have 24/7 access to TMG Adventure in Kathmandu.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is a must because you are trekking near the mountains at an altitude of more than 3000 m. You must ensure in your country before coming to Nepal, before starting your trek. Please bring with you a copy of insurance, and your insurance policy must cover the medical expenses, helicopter evacuation from the altitude of 5000 m to 6000 m, and other things related to your health. Please give the copy to TRAVEL MAX GUIDE. It will send the information to the insurance company if you use the mountain rescue operation, mentioned above.

Passport and Visa

Before coming to Nepal, your passport must have the validity of 6 months, and you can put the Tourist Visa ‘On Arrival’ on your passport at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Outline Itinerary & Maps

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport; we will love to wait for you. Don’t worry if you are going to arrive in the middle of the night; we will come to pick you up. You will be greeted by our representatives and dropped off to a hotel. There are no activities today. Thamel is open till midnight; this is the place where your hotel is located.

Accomodation: 124 Meals:212 Day 02: Guided Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley

The sightseeing that you are going to do, today, comprises of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and they can be categorized as Stupas, Temples, and Palaces. The sightseeing can be personalized, according to your interest, and all the effective route planning for the sightseeing will be done by the city guide of TMG, focusing on all the values of your satisfaction like how much time you want to spend, the mode of transportation you want to choose, such as rickshaw, private car, cycle, and it also takes walking distance into account. Kathmandu Durbar Square From the hotel where you are staying, nothing is near the Kathmandu Durbar Square. It was a ceremonial site; it was a palace where the would-be kings used to be coronated in the past, now it is a palace cum museum, and to be there is to experience how the royals spend their life. Stand among the monuments, temples, and statues that back to the 17th and 18th century. Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) Be well prepared in advance because this stupa is located at quite an altitude and is more than 2,000 years old. This is the most important of all the Buddhist Stupas in Nepal and has a fascinating face of Lord Buddha on every side, and its base has the stonework of 5 Dhyani Buddhas – Vairocana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi, and Aksobhya, and each of these represents the wisdom of Lord Buddha. People flock to this stupa to see the birds- eye view of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath Pashupatinath is as old as the hills, but the Hindu Committees of Nepal, looks after it, such as renovation and maintenance, and there are new adds on in and around the temple. Pashupatinath is the most important temple of Lord Shiva and located not far away from the heart of Kathmandu. Only Hindus are permitted to enter from the main gate to Pashupatinath Temple. As a visitor, you will enjoy the rich combination of architecture from a distance. If you are lucky, then you might see the Hindu Cremation taking place. Bouddhanath Bouddhanath is also a stupa. It is one of the holiest pilgrimages of the Buddhists. It has a white doom just like Swayambhunath, whatever the myth is, it contains the bones of Kasyapa Buddha (Buddha incarnation), while others say it contains the bone of Lord Buddha. Around the base of the stupa are 108 small images of the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha. Go anytime to enjoy these images.

It is time to get away for the Tilicho Lake Trek. Get into the bus and drive along the Kathmandu Pokhara Highway. You will stay over in Besisahar. From there, you head to Syangje across scenic landscapes, and the green valley impacts your mind.

Today, you will experience the best of the natural beauties. As you look at the river and the valley, you will more realize their beauties.

As you walk uphill, all you need is strength and passion to accept the beauties of an alpine forest. Sometimes, once in a while, it is wise to walk in the lush forest of pine.

Today, where you trek, is a classic spot. Walk uphill to see an iconic view of Lamjung and Annapurna II.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 07: Trek to Upper Pisang (3,300 m) Duration: 6 hours

This is a great walk by the definition of the trek. Walk uphill and downhill. It is easy to get into thin villages. Between Chame and Upper Pisang, the highlight is Paungda Danda. You also have chances to see the stunning view of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 08: Trek to Ngawal (3,660 m) Duration: 5 hours From easy trekking trail to beautiful views, that makes today’s trek above everything. Without stepping near Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Chulu East, and Pisang Peak, you can say you have a scenic walk.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 09: Trek to Manang (3,500 m) via Bhraka (3,360 m) Duration: 5 hours

Where you trek seems to be a less-frequented area, but the stunning view of the Annapurna Ranges, Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, Pisang peak, and Lumjung Himal is indescribable.

Explore the highlights of Manang by hiking to the Gangapurna Lake. From the way, see the panoramic view of the Marshnagdi River. The view also comprises the Annapurna Ranges, Gangapurna (7454m), and Tilicho Peak (7134m). Spend some time in Tenki.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 11: Trek to Khangsar Village/ Shree Kharka (3,700 m) Duration: 4 hours

Uphill and downhill take you to Khangsar. Get some magical experiences as you walk in an alpine forest of pine. A distant view of Tilicho Lake is fascinating. The view is the best of all because of the surrounding peaks. The highlight of Khangsar is a monastery.

There are lots of natural factors that make today’s walk memorable. One of them is a pasture where you see the domestic yaks grazing. Another is the view of the valley from the top of the hill. The third could be the view of the Kangsar Khola, a river. You are a solitary walker here.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 13: Trek to Tilicho lake (5,200 m) and return to Tilicho Base Camp (4,200m) Duration: 6 hours

Steep uphill takes you to the Tilicho lake, the world’s highest lake. Way to the lake is covered with snow all year-round. From now, you will keep the beauty of the lake on your mind. Downhill takes you to the Tilicho Base Camp.

Today is your last day in the Marshyangdi Valley. As you come out of it, you say goodbye to the dry area of this valley. Uphill takes you to Khangsar which is your stopover. There is a mani wall on the way, and there is also a meadow. Today’s highlight is the view of Tilicho Peak (7134m), Khatungkang (6484m), and Chulu (6584m).

Today’s highlights suit your interest, and they are a close-up view of Thorung Peak (6144m), Syagang (6026m), Khatungkang (6484m), and Purbung Himal (6590). As you walk uphill, it seems your travel plan has been lined up since yesterday as you see the hills and valleys, looming over your head.

Accomodation: 239 Meals:105 Day 16: Trek to Muktinath (3,800 m) via Thorung La Pass (5,416 m) Duration: 8 hours

Today, you are crossing the pass, which is why; you have to start early morning. This pass is the highest pass of the Annapurna Region. The pass is always covered with snow. Downhill slope of the pass takes you to Muktinath, one of the religious places of the Hindus.

Muktinath is a place of religious significance. It is a preserved place and always comes in the radar of the Hindus and the Buddhist pilgrims. Today’s trekking trail is admired as it takes you to the apple orchards. All these are blended with the view of Dhaulagiri (8167m).

Set off for Pokhara. As you fly, the land has beautiful Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Ranges. This site looks like personalized from the window of a plane. Enjoy the uninterrupted view of the from above.
