All the usual side shows were running and the well stocked bric-a-brac stall proved as popular as ever. With the sand castle competition, the art competition, the pet show and our two raffles, as well as the tombola stall, there were great prizes galore to win. We are very grateful to all the businesses in Amble for their generous support in providing prizes; there are too many to list them all here but we really appreciate their help. The usual volunteers offered their help to run the various side shows, the refreshments and the stalls, and without them we couldn’t manage such a variety of events, so thanks to them all. We would also welcome hearing from anyone new who can help next year. Thanks to everyone who came and supported us and we look forward to doing it all again next year. If you have any suggestions or comments on Fun Day we would love to hear from you on our Hauxley Village Facebook page. Don’t miss out on a great day for all the family and we hope to see you next year!
