Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time October 27, 2019 An Update from Your Collaborative Plan Writing Team Many thanks once again to all our fellow parishioners who contributed to the informational surveys assessing our collaborative’s vari- ous mission sets. We used your insights to craft the Vision Statement set out below. To support the new Mission Statement, we devel- oped Smart Goals that are specific, measurable, and within our collaborative’s ability to attain within the next one to three years. Of course, more remains to be done. But, with your continued prayers and active participation, we can accomplish these goals and more! Vision Statement: Our collaborative is a welcoming community of prayer, growing in our love of God. We desire to share that love with all we meet in our daily encounters. We invite all who wish to join in celebrating the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and in seeking a vibrant relationship with Jesus through prayer, Scripture, and the Sacraments. Forty million Americans ages 12 and older—or more than 1 in Masses will be celebrated at : 7 people— abuse or are addicted to alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. Addiction is chronic disease that is centered in Our Lady of Lourdes ~ 9:00 a.m. the brain and has both physical and emotional effects. As the St. Peter’s ~ 9:00 a.m. prevalence of addiction has grown in recent years, the Arch- Saint Kateri ~ 7:00 p.m. diocese of Boston has developed ministries and programs to help those suffering from addiction, as well as their families. The Spiritual Exercise of St. Ignatius of Loyola: Fr. Jim RCAB Office of Risk Management. Rafferty and Kathy Simsky are planning to offer the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola to a group of parishioners Deacon Jim Greer, Director of the Office of Chaplaincy from any of our three parishes who could set aside an hour Archdiocese of Boston will offer a presentation… or more a day for prayer and reading and who could meet St. Peter lower Church Hall on once a week with the full group to share the fruits of their Wednesday, November 6 at 7pm prayer.
