Du kan også ta en avstikker ned til Strømmen eller Lillestrøm. På Fetsund lenser er det i tillegg til museum et våtmarkssenter, og en rekke industrielle kulturminner, inkludert båter, lenser, lensebrygger på elva og fløterbolig Denne turen er lettsyklet og helt uten bratte bakker. Den første halvdelen av turen følger ruta tett på Nitelva, på mye trygge og fine turveier. Turen kan sykles av de fleste inkludert barn fra 11-12 år.
