Page 1 Calathea (Kalatea) Čeleď: Marantaceae VIC Pochází Calathea (Kalatea) čeleď: Marantaceae Pochází především z Jižní Ameriky a Karibiku. Teplota během zimy by neměla klesnout pod 15°C. Můžete vyzkoušet i hydroponické pěstování. Nemá ráda průvan a výpary hořícího plynu. Nesnáší průvan a náhlé změny teplot. Množí se dělením oddenků. • Well-Known Plants in Each Angiosperm Order
Well-known plants in each angiosperm order This list is generally from least evolved (most ancient) to most evolved (most modern). (I’m not sure if this applies for Eudicots; I’m listing them in the same order as APG II.) The first few plants are mostly primitive pond and aquarium plants. Next is Illicium (anise tree) from Austrobaileyales, then the magnoliids (Canellales thru Piperales), then monocots (Acorales through Zingiberales), and finally eudicots (Buxales through Dipsacales). The plants before the eudicots in this list are considered basal angiosperms. This list focuses only on angiosperms and does not look at earlier plants such as mosses, ferns, and conifers. Basal angiosperms – mostly aquatic plants Unplaced in order, placed in Amborellaceae family • Amborella trichopoda – one of the most ancient flowering plants Unplaced in order, placed in Nymphaeaceae family • Water lily • Cabomba (fanwort) • Brasenia (watershield) Ceratophyllales • Hornwort Austrobaileyales • Illicium (anise tree, star anise) Basal angiosperms - magnoliids Canellales • Drimys (winter's bark) • Tasmanian pepper Laurales • Bay laurel • Cinnamon • Avocado • Sassafras • Camphor tree • Calycanthus (sweetshrub, spicebush) • Lindera (spicebush, Benjamin bush) Magnoliales • Custard-apple • Pawpaw • guanábana (soursop) • Sugar-apple or sweetsop • Cherimoya • Magnolia • Tuliptree • Michelia • Nutmeg • Clove Piperales • Black pepper • Kava • Lizard’s tail • Aristolochia (birthwort, pipevine, Dutchman's pipe) • Asarum (wild ginger) Basal angiosperms - monocots Acorales

  • Outline of Angiosperm Phylogeny
Outline of angiosperm phylogeny: orders, families, and representative genera with emphasis on Oregon native plants Priscilla Spears December 2013 The following listing gives an introduction to the phylogenetic classification of the flowering plants that has emerged in recent decades, and which is based on nucleic acid sequences as well as morphological and developmental data. This listing emphasizes temperate families of the Northern Hemisphere and is meant as an overview with examples of Oregon native plants. It includes many exotic genera that are grown in Oregon as ornamentals plus other plants of interest worldwide. The genera that are Oregon natives are printed in a blue font. Genera that are exotics are shown in black, however genera in blue may also contain non-native species. Names separated by a slash are alternatives or else the nomenclature is in flux. When several genera have the same common name, the names are separated by commas. The order of the family names is from the linear listing of families in the APG III report. For further information, see the references on the last page. Basal Angiosperms (ANITA grade) Amborellales Amborellaceae, sole family, the earliest branch of flowering plants, a shrub native to New Caledonia – Amborella Nymphaeales Hydatellaceae – aquatics from Australasia, previously classified as a grass Cabombaceae (water shield – Brasenia, fanwort – Cabomba) Nymphaeaceae (water lilies – Nymphaea; pond lilies – Nuphar) Austrobaileyales Schisandraceae (wild sarsaparilla, star vine – Schisandra; Japanese

Accepted 22 April, 2013 Ten plants from Marantaceae families and ten plants from Pteridophytes were tested for their abilities of removing formaldehyde (FDH) in the air. Each of the plants was placed in a 1.0 ×1.0 × 0.8 m glass box filled with FDH for seven days with the initial concentration as 15 mg m-3. These plants such as Neottopteris nidus cv. Volulum, Calathea lubbersiana showed the most resistant ability to FDH damage; species such as Calathea ornata, Calathea setosa, Calathea freddy, and Calathea roseo-picta showed more resistant ability to FDH damage; species such as N. nidus, Pteris fauriei, Pteris ensiformis cv. Victoriae, Pteris cretica cv. Albolineata, Nephrolepis cordifolia, Cyclosorus parasiticus, Blechnum orientale, Maranta bicolor, and Calathea zebrina showed the worst resistance to FDH. The absorption of FDH by plants in the glass box chamber was found especially apparent during the first three days. The fastest purification of FDH was found in species such as C. zebrina, M. punctatum, and the slowest was found in species such as C.

The current pantropical distribution of the order suggests an historical Gondwanan distribution, however the evolutionary history of the group has never been analyzed in a temporal context to test if the order is old enough to attribute its current distribution to vicariance mediated by the break-up of the supercontinent. Based on a phylogeny derived from morphological and molecular characters, we develop a hypothesis for the spatial and temporal evolution of Zingiberales using Dispersal-Vicariance Analysis (DIVA) combined with a local molecular clock technique that enables the simultaneous analysis of multiple gene loci with multiple calibration points.

SAKA1 & JULIO A. LOMBARDI1 1Departamento de Botânica, Instituto de Biociências de Rio Claro, UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista, 13506-900, Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brazil. E-mail: [email protected] Introduction Marantaceae is a family with approximately 550 species distributed throughout the tropics, with the exception of Australia (Andersson 2003). Calathea Meyer (1818: 6) used to be the largest genus in the family, previously including ca. 300 species. After the molecular study on the genus by Borchsenius et al. (2012), which confirmed the genus as polyphyletic, Goeppertia Nees (1831: 337) was resurrected to include all the species (approximately 245) that were not in the former subgenus Calathea Körnicke (1862: 112), the Calathea lanicaulis group (Kennedy et al. 1988) and the synonymized genus Sanblasia Andersson (1984: 21). Goeppertia thus became the most representative genus of Marantaceae, in Brazil represented by ca. 100 species (Braga 2013). It is found chiefly in rainforest habitats at elevations, below 1500m (Kennedy et al. 1988). However, the number of species may yet be underestimated due to unknown diversity of Brazilian species occurring in drier areas. While working in the Marantaceae for the ‘Flora of Sergipe project’, we found a species already annotated by Loesener on herbarium sheets as a new species, but it was never validly published.
