ARTIST BIOGRAPHY PRESENTATION *4 days in class to research and complete* The objective of this assignment is to familiarize yourself with many styles of art from various time periods and areas of the world. The project begins with research to find an artist of interest. From there you have two class periods to compile facts about the artist, images of them, and their work. The final task is to create a Google Slides presentation 12 -15 slides containing the following information. INFORMATION NEEDED FOR ARTIST PRESENTATION 1. Artists full name, date of birth and death *Provide photo or self portrait 2. City and country of origin 3. Art style or period. List all art mediums or tools used by artist 4. List any artist friends, rivals, or influences on them. 5. Interesting and important information from their life: their upbringing, schools they went to, how they became an artist, how much their art is worth, where their art is now (museums, cities), how they died. 6. Information about their most famous work of art. How they made it, what is the story behind it, what it is about, how did it become popular. 7. MINIMUM OF 6 IMAGES OF ART Include date created, materials involved, where it was created, where it is now (museum, park, gallery, side of building) 8. Title slide: name of artist, students involved. Slide 2 - 5: artist bio, family, start of career.
