O Our staff have been informed about all the Hygienic rules to be C respected. Supervision of common areas and implementation of correct behaviours based on the duties of their role. Everyone is using protective masks and if required, gloves. L Everyday we check the temperature of our staff. We implemented the use of signs and technical devices that guarantee the social distancing required by the current E regulations. Check-in and check-out procedures have been adapted to the protocol regarding the fight against the spread of Covid-19, ensuring the social distancing and the protection of the health W of all our guests. Daily cleaning and disinfection of common areas, corridors, hall, reception desk, sofa, tables, using special medical-surgical products and devices to decontaminate the surfaces. All the common areas are provided with devices with hand sanitizing gel. This is one of the little villages that follow one another all along the perimeter of the lake. Thanks to its famous Villas, residence of many E celebrities, its mild and sunny climate and the panorama, it is defined as one of the pearls of the lake. Moltrasio consists of many I hamlets that from the lake side develop up to the mountain: Borgo, the administrative, religious and economic heart; San Rocco on the lake side and Tosnacco on the upper part. A copper axe and two C Gallo-roman graves prove the human presence since 2000 A.C.. The most ancient monuments are from the year 1000. N The Churches San Martino church is the main one, located in the Borgo hamlet. The inside is rich in paintings and stuccoes dating back to different periods. The date of its construction is not sure, but a notarial act O proves its existence already in 1207. The side chapel dedicated to the relic of the Sacra Spina and the main altar are enriched with paintings by Giovan Mauro della Rovere, called the ‘Fiamminghino’.

    1 From Brunate to Monte Piatto Easy trail along the mountain side , east from Como. From Torno it is possible to get back to Como by boat all year round. ITINERARY: Brunate - Monte Piatto - Torno WALKING TIME: 2hrs 30min ASCENT: almost none DESCENT: 400m DIFFICULTY: Easy. The path is mainly flat. The last section is a stepped mule track downhill, but the first section of the path is rather rugged. Not recommended in bad weather. TRAIL SIGNS: Signs to “Montepiatto” all along the trail CONNECTIONS: To Brunate Funicular from Como, Piazza De Gasperi every 30 minutes From Torno to Como boats and buses no. C30/31/32 ROUTE: From the lakeside road Lungo Lario Trieste in Como you can reach Brunate by funicular. The tram-like vehicle shuffles between the lake and the mountain village in 8 minutes. At the top station walk down the steps to turn right along via Roma. Here you can see lots of charming buildings dating back to the early 20th century, the golden era for Brunate’s tourism, like Villa Pirotta (Federico Frigerio, 1902) or the fountain called “Tre Fontane” with a Campari advertising bas-relief of the 30es. Turn left to follow via Nidrino, and pass by the Chalet Sonzogno (1902). Do not follow via Monte Rosa but instead walk down to the sportscentre. At the end of the football pitch follow the track on the right marked as “Strada Regia.” The trail slowly works its way down to the Monti di Blevio . Ignore the “Strada Regia” which leads to Capovico but continue straight along the flat path until you reach Monti di Sorto .

L’indagine è stata effettuata su mandato della Direzione Generale Welfare di Regione Lombardia in stretta collaborazione con ATS Insubria per la parte meridionale della provincia di Como e ATS Montagna per la parte settentrionale. As the World Expo city for 2015, Milan will be very much in the news in the months ahead. A world fashion and design capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as Italy’s main commercial and financial center, Milan has every sophistication one might seek in a major European city. But Milan’s special appeal is its artistic heritage. Leonardo spent 17 years in the city working on various commissions.
