He is renowned in the fields of conflict resolution, interfaces, parading and victims and survivors; as Chief Executive of the Community Relations Council, he championed the 10.00am Welcome and scene setting concept of a shared future and chaired both the Scottish Government’s Fergal McFerran & Cliona McCarney Advisory Group on Tackling Sectarianism and on Tackling Hate Crime, (Youth Steering Group) Prejudice & Community Cohesion. Opportunities to speak & share Dr Helen Mary Jones is an Associate Professor of Public Affairs and Collette McAlister & Patrick Boyd the Assistant Director of the Morgan Institute at Swansea University, (Youth Steering Group) and formerly Chief Executive of Youth Cymru. As a member Plaid Cymru, and a member of the Welsh Assembly from 1999-2011, her political interests include equality, social justice, children’s rights and 10.30am – 12.15pm employment.
