We are pleased Old-Time Community to present this fine lineup of songwriters: Heidi Muller, Steve Dance Kinzie and Caleb Samples. Heidi Muller is an award- Hurricane Creek Grange winning songwriter, guitarist and mountain dulcimer player who lives up Hurricane Creek. Many people know her song “Good Sunday, April 17, 6 PM Road,” the theme song of the Inland Folk show on Northwest Wallowa Valley Chorale Public Radio and KPBX-Spokane since 1989. Described by Spring Concert Dulcimer Players’ News as “one of the dulcimer community’s best OK Theatre, Enterprise songwriters and performers,” Heidi writes songs of place and story songs and sometimes peers into the life of cats, ticks, and the moon Sunday, May 8, 4PM and stars. She was part of the Seattle music scene of the 80’s and Open Mic 90’s, was a Kerrville New Folk finalist and a founder of Camp Josephy Center for Arts and Coho, has toured nationally and taught at Culture many camps and festivals such as Kentucky Music Week and Augusta Saturday, May 14, 7 PM Heritage. His Lear’s Main Street Grill, mesmerizing voice and gorgeous melodies evoke matters of justice, Enterprise the eternal spirit, and peace. VOLUME 12, ISSUE 2 THE QUARTER NOTE PAGE 3 Courthouse Concert Series 4th Annual Hootenanny May 22 For the eleventh consecutive year, the Music Alliance will present the Courthouse Concert Series at the gazebo on the lawn of the Wallowa County Courthouse in Enterprise. Every Thursday afternoon at 5:30, beginning June 2, the community gathers to enjoy free ninety-minute performances by local and regional musicians. The concert series features a broad range of musical genres, including classical, folk, jazz, and rock, FREE and open to the public. A perfect opportunity to pack a picnic, bring family, meet up with friends and enjoy the music. The Courthouse Concert Series is partially funded by Lear’s Main Street Pub & Grill, the City of Enterprise, Wallowa County Cultural Trust, and donations from generous concert-goers.
