Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree Contestant Rules and Regulatio ns Revised June, 2012 The Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree exists to perpetuate traditional Appalachian and Old-Time music, while recognizing the Bluegrass influence on our mountain music culture. This is an Old-Time Appalachian Festival, and therefore, old-time rules will prevail.
