Within Anemone,6subgenera, 2 sections and 16 series were proposed originally by us, and we re-examined the taxonomic state of ca. 50 species and intraspecific taxa. Besides, we elaborated the annotated conspectus of the genus Anemone and the key for determina- tion of its species, series, subsections, sections and subgenera on the basis of the analysis of about 70 characters of the achenes, flowers, leaves, above-ground and underground shoots and roots.
A TAXONOMIC SYNOPSIS OF RANUNCULACEAE OF THE FAR-EAST OF RUSSIA S.F. Gray рассматривается нами в составе рода Ranunculus L.; Anemonidium (Spach) Holub, Anemonastrum Holub, Arsenjevia Starodub., Anemonoides Mill. – в составе рода Anemone L.; Miyakea Miyabe et Tatew. – в составе рода Pulsatilla Mill. Кроме того, род Hegemone Bunge в нашей обработ- ке отнесён к роду Trollius L., род Shibateranthis Nakai – к роду Eranthis Salisb., род Jurtsevia A. et D. Love – к Anemone L., а род Chrysocyathus Falconer – к Adonis L. Численность учтённых после 1995 г.

Two sections (viz. ,Stolonifera and Keiskea) 紅 e sep 訂 ated from the foregoing ones and placed in a different subgenus ,viz. , Stolonifera , comb. and sta t. nov. A key for determination of subgenera ,sections ,series and species is included. For delimitation delimitation of the taxa within Anemonanthea s. 1., although we used the morphological characters characters as given by Tamura (1 995) , in our research we have included additional essen- tial tial characters' (viz. ,chromosome numbers , types of pollen grains and ca 中els ,germina- tion tion type and time of basal leaf development , types of rhizomes , shoot structure , shape and and size of basal and involucralleaves ,tepal number ,shape ,venation and villosity.

  • Season's Greetings
International Rock Gardener ISSN 2053-7557 Season’s Greetings Number 48 The Scottish Rock Garden Club December 2013 ---International Rock Gardener--- December 2013 The Editorial Team of the IRG joins with all SRGC Members to send Seasonal Greetings to all our readers worldwide. We very much appreciate your continued support, notes and emails. There are many who contribute to the IRG - from the authors and photographers to our hardworking index-compiling and proof-reading helpers, Glassford Sprunt and Richard Green – all of these fine people are deserving of our respect and thanks.(A full index is appended to this issue.) The most important partners in this enterprise must, however, be our readers, without whom our efforts would be somewhat futile so we are pleased that reader numbers are continuing to rise each month. Such success means that we are ever more hungry for fresh articles so please be assured that any submissions, from you, with fine photographs of plants and gardens are keenly awaited! Contact is simple – email [email protected] with your text and photos or indeed ideas and comments: we will be delighted to hear from you. The initiative between the SRGC and the Czech Prague Rock Garden Club is proving fruitful! ZZ, Ian and I are eager to keep the momentum of the IRG going into the fifth year of what we thought might only be a one-year experimental project. The Scottish Rock Garden Club is serious in its resolve to both share enthusiasm for and disseminate information about the diminutive mountain and wild-land plants of the world which fascinate so many people.

(Liliaceae) in the northern Apennines (Italy). Italian Botanist 4: 1–14. doi: 10.3897/italianbotanist.4.12439 Abstract Relationships between age, time of emergence, and leaf traits of individuals were investigated in a popula- tion of Erythronium dens-canis L. in a hilly woodland area named Farneto-C, near Bologna, Italy. In 2015, 591 individuals were counted, 19 of which were flowering (FLO), 442 were mature non-flowering (MNF) and 130 were juveniles (JUV). FLO emerged at the end of February, whereas most MNF and JUV ap- peared at the middle and end of March, respectively. The mean aboveground survivorship of MNF was 24 days. Most MNF had large, oval to shield-shaped leaves with red-brown mottling, whereas most JUV leaves were smaller, usually oblong or lanceolate with a rough maculation or none. These results suggest that both timing of emergence and leaf shape are related to the age of the bulb. Based on leaf background, plants were classified into three major types with a likely genetic basis in the 2015 and 2016 surveys (the latter limited to FLO): a dominant silvery type (SLV, 62–74%), silvery-and-green type (S&G, 23–32%), and a less frequent vivid-green type (GRN, 3–5%).
