2014–2015 Concert Series at First Lutheran Church & School — Torrance

Dear Friends, This is our second season as Classical Crossroads at First Lutheran Church & School, Torrance, where we've been warmly welcomed with gracious hospitality. First Lutheran's beautiful sanctuary with superb acoustics combine with the artists' exceptional musicianship to make the concerts truly life-affirming experiences. You can be assured that, although this is our SECOND season, the performances will be FIRST-rate! We have two series. "The Interludes" presents winners of the prestigious Beverly Hills Auditions on Saturdays. These concerts are presented the previous evenings by the City of Encinitas in its splendid library, and in the spring, on the following Sundays in the City of Beverly Hills' historic Greystone Mansion. The second series is the "Bach's Lunchtime Recital" series. The finest Southland professional artists perform half-hour recitals followed by light refreshments on first Fridays from October through June (except January). The April concert falls on Good Friday, and First Lutheran's accomplished organist, Kent Eggert, will play a recital that is in keeping with the day. Your financial contribution for this endeavor is essential — freewill donations at the concerts fall far short of meeting expenses. Please mail your tax-deductible donation to Classical Crossroads, Inc., P.O. Box 1822, Manhattan Beach CA 90266. Concert- series contributors are gratefully acknowledged in all of the printed concert programs, and you'll have the opportunity to increase your contribution throughout the year at the concerts. Those of us at Classical Crossroads hope to be on the top of your list of concert venues this season. Artistic quality is always our first consideration. We hope to see you soon!

Best wishes,

Karla Devine, Artistic Director Classical Crossroads, Inc.
