Location

The village of Launton retains a good range of local facilities including a shop/post office, general store, local butcher, school and two public houses. The larger market town of Bicester is only some 2.5 miles away and provides a wider range of amenities including Bicester North station which provides an excellent commuter train service to London (Marylebone).

Directions

From Oxford, take the A34 in a northerly direction towards the M40, continuing straight over the roundabout at Junction 9 of the M40 and continuing on the A41 towards Bicester and Aylesbury. On the outskirts of Bicester by the Esso Garage, turn right at the roundabout, continuing on the A41 towards Aylesbury and at the subsequent roundabout take the second exit onto the B4421 towards Buckingham and Launton. Continue over the two subsequent roundabouts and level crossing to the third roundabout, before turning right towards Launton Village and continue to the crossroads in the centre of the village, before turning left almost opposite The Bull Inn into Station Road (signposted Poundon). Home Farmhouse will then be found after about a quarter of a mile on the left hand side.
