Thompson t o the Committee, and it is hoped his keenness and experience will be at the disposai of .the Committee for many years. The resignation from the COJl1mittee of Hal Sever for domestic and business reasons is a great loss to the County, his chairman ship of the Selection Committee in no small way contributed t o the County's success in winning the County Championship. Your Committee have submitted his name to flll the ','::Lcancy as a Vice-P resident, and no doubt this nomination will be confinned at the Anriual General Meeting. COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP. Although it is old history, the Committee proudly report that until March, 1951, your County is the Champion County, and it will be theü main effort to ret ain the title next season . This success has made new history, for this is the first season that th" County has been successful in a Semi-Final and a Final. Great credit is due to the Selection Committee in their arduous task of selection and also to L. B . Smith, the Captain, in his leadership of the t eams ~e l ec t ed. NOR,MhN MçCAI Gl Hon. Treasurrr. LOANS TO CLUBS. Your Committee have not made any loans to Clubs this ycar. The fi nancial position of the County must improve consiclerably before requests for loans can be considered and the Committee are actively exploring ail possible means of increasing the annual income t o build up a Reserve in order to assist Clubs in financial need. . Ail clubs who have received loans or grants from the County in the past have agœed in principle that these loans should be repaid. The method has still t o be worked out and this will be one of the first tasks to be undertaken by your Committee in 1950-5 1. Your Committee has agreed that when future loans are made to Clubs they will be made as repayable loans, free of interest. Repayrnent is to be made in 25 equal annual instalments. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS. A considerable increase in individual membership of the County has taken place this season. The total number of individual members now stands at 150. Clubs are reminded to encourage their members to join in accordance with Rule 5 (iv) (b). The annual subscription r emains at l Os . Gd. The Secretary œports that ail personal requests by individual members to him for seats at representative games had been met in full . A satisfactory position in Individual Membership could be reached if each' affiliated Club endeavoured to produce a target figure of approximately 15% of Club membership. This figure should be the minimum aim of each club ; your Committee request that Club Secœtaries and Committees will make a serious drive in Season 1950-51. An additional concession has becn made to individual m embers for season 1950-51. The membership card will entitle members to a seat on the stand in addition to free admission to the ground on which the Home County match is played. Written request for stand tickets t o be made in writing to the Secretary for each match. NEW MEMBERS.
