The world is on hold, and it is hard to remain motivated, my husband is working from home, I’s sure he would rather be at a office somewhere else, but here we are, not what we would choose, but it is what we have got at the moment. Because of the world/ club situation, it is quite difficult to source articles and informative tit-bits for the newsletter, therefore, I am asking if you have anything you are prepared to share, photos of where you have been (place, date ) or maybe you would share how you have kept yourself busy, and motivated dur- ing this time. Please send whatever to me, my email is [email protected] We are creating a new, and exciting web site, and for this we are asking anyone who has photos taken in the last 18 month of the machines, trains, miniature trains, could you send them to electronically to: graham @fordbar.com 2 The Steam Whistle Ray’s been busy again! this time he has produced a solution to all the boxes of Railway Magazines that are currently lurk- ing under the Model Railway curtains. There was a huge parade down Pennsylvania Avenue celebrating Trump. Millions lined the parade route, cheering when the President went past. Bands were playing; children were throwing confetti into the air; there were balloons everywhere. It was absolutely the BIGGEST CELEBRATION WASHINGTON HAD EVER SEEN!!! Trump was very impressed and said, "That's really great! By the way, how did I look in your dream? Was my hair okay?" His assistant said, "I couldn't tell, the casket was closed." Little David was in his 5th grade class in a San Francisco charter school when the teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up - fireman, policeman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, David was being uncharacteristically quiet, so the teacher asked him about his father. “My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes he, if they are really good generous tippers, goes home with them.' The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and took little David aside to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?” “No, of course not;" said David. "He works for Donald Trump, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids!" If Trump were Captain of the Titanic: "There isn't any iceberg. It’s a fake iceberg There was an iceberg but it's in a totally different ocean. People say it's the biggest iceberg The iceberg is in this ocean but it will melt very soon. There is an iceberg but we didn't hit the iceberg We hit the iceberg, but the damage will be repaired very shortly. I knew from the beginning there was an iceberg, long before people called it an iceberg The iceberg is a Chinese iceberg. We are taking on water but every passenger who wants a lifeboat can get a lifeboat, and they are beautiful lifeboats. Look, passengers need to ask nicely for the lifeboats if they want them. We don't have any lifeboats, we're not lifeboat distributors. Passengers should have planned for icebergs and brought their own lifeboats. I really don't think we need that many lifeboats. We have lifeboats and they're supposed to be our lifeboats, not the passengers' lifeboats. The lifeboats were left on shore by the last captain of this ship. Nobody could have foreseen the iceberg. I'm an expert on icebergs I've got lots of friends who deal with icebergs. Some of the best. Really good ice people who know ice and their forms of berginess." Summer will come and the iceberg will disappear, it will go away, like magic” 7 The Steam Whistle 1. Name that actor that used tosay,”Watch you talkin’ ‘bout Willis’?
