The units remaining to be registered have been T pursued and are charged a late fee for not registering before the deadline. The late fee was established at $100 for the initial registration and $250 for each subsequent registration. When applying the late fee, the staff has found that the ordinance makes the late fee the same whether you are late for one unit or 50 units. Therefore, Council adopted an amendment to the Ordinance that the late fee be applied per unit. The City will charge $100 for a single family unit and $100 for the Multi-family building plus $25 per each unit in the building. This should create greater equity between the various owners.
