Current member of Southwest Rotary (18 years) and the chair of the City of Yakima’s Public Facilities District.

Statement I believe that our schools should focus more on academics, and less on politics.

Our children should be receiving a full-time, in-person education, immediately.

The Yakima school district has tremendous resources and opportunities for our kids. We should celebrate those just as passionately as we tackle our challenges.

I was lucky to receive a great education here in Yakima, and as I watch my son go through the school system, I want to give back and be a part of the conversation about public education in Yakima.
