At the end of 2008 the fund’s value had dipped by 29 percent. However, by the end of October 2009 the fund had bounced back by 23 percent. Since its establishment in 1990 the fund has supported two General Assemblies and contributed US $250, 000 to the Federation. Because of the crisis the usual contribution from the Centennial Fund to WSCF’s global work was not available in 2009.
