Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Saturday March 11, 2017 Mike Anderson when it's going back and forth like that, that's when it's really fun to be out there playing basketball. And, you Dusty Hannahs know, we really were physical tonight and we didn't shoot the ball really well, but we got stops and Daryl Macon rebounded and took care of business. Arkansas Q. What was going through your mind on the last possession when Ole Miss got off all those shots? Arkansas - 73, Ole Miss - 72 DARYL MACON: Don't let them get a 3 off. I saw the time going down, they're going to run out of time. THE MODERATOR: We'll ask Coach Anderson for When they shot the last layup like .2 seconds, I knew it general comments on the game. And then we'll take was over. They couldn't get a 3-point shot off or even a questions just for the student-athletes and then finish good shot, period. up with Coach. Coach, would you begin. DUSTY HANNAHS: When Moses blocked it, he COACH ANDERSON: Saw a typical Arkansas, Ole blocked it to Burnett in the corner. He still got over Miss game go down to the last possession. The there to contest the shot after he blocked it to him, possession had to be where we had to play defense. which was unbelievable. When he got up to contest Couldn't say enough. We had a lot of guys make a lot that one, we probably won the game. -

Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Saturday March 11, 2017 Mike Anderson guys kind of get a sense you were going to break them? What is each of your thoughts on that big Dusty Hannahs second half? MOSES KINGSLEY: Yeah. We emphasized the first five minutes of the second half. The Coach said let's Jaylen Barford get started with the first five minutes. That's what we did. We make them take tough shots and rebound and Moses Kingsley ran with it. Arkansas DUSTY HANNAHS: Yeah, we just -- they played -- this was their third game in three days. We knew if we Arkansas - 76, Vanderbilt - 62 came out the second half would be our half if we just kept running and executing. We started off the half THE MODERATOR: We're ready to begin with with a basket and Moses had a dunk the next Arkansas. We'll ask Coach Anderson for some general possession. That's a great way to start the half. We comments on the game. Then we'll take the questions fed off of it and got stops, and that was ultimately what just for the three student-athletes. And then we'll come propelled us to win. back and finish up with the Coach. Coach Anderson. JAYLEN BARFORD: What Dusty said, we did a great COACH ANDERSON: I'm really proud of these job of containing, just denying the wings like we should, student-athletes up here and the guys in the locker just pushing the ball and keeping the pressure up. room.
