BOSTON BRUINS TO HOST MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5 IN GAME AGAINST THE DALLAS STARS Noel Acciari, David Backes, Brandon Carlo, Torey Krug, Sean Kuraly, Charlie McAvoy, Kevan Miller, John Moore, and Chris Wagner to each purchase $2,500 worth of tickets for local military members

BOSTON, MA – The will honor local military members, veterans, and their families at Military Appreciation Night on Monday, November 5 during the Bruins vs. Dallas Stars game at TD Garden at 7:00 p.m. To show their support for the armed forces, Bruins players Noel Acciari, David Backes, Brandon Carlo, Torey Krug, Sean Kuraly, Charlie McAvoy, Kevan Miller, John Moore, and Chris Wagner will each purchase $2,500 worth of tickets to the Bruins vs. Stars game to give to local military members and their families. The military members and families who sit in these player-donated seats will have the opportunity to meet the players postgame.

The entire Bruins team will wear camouflaged Spoked-B jerseys for warm-ups and will use American flag and Canadian flag stick tape during the game to show their support for Military Appreciation Night. The team-signed, warm-up worn camouflaged jerseys will be auctioned off at the Boston Bruins Foundation table outside of Loge 4 on the concourse at the Bruins games on November 5 and November 11. On November 6 at 9 a.m., the Foundation online raffle for the signed camo Patrice Bergeron jersey will go live on BruinsRaffles.org. Additionally, select signed camo jerseys will be auctioned off on BruinsAuctions.org starting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6

Performing the national anthem will be Sergeant Bobbie Lee Hubbard, an Army veteran and Boston native. Hubbard served in the Army for eight years. During her time, she was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Camp Arifjan Kuwait from 2010 to 2011, as the unit’s CBRN Specialist, Armorer, and Training Specialist. Hubbard was awarded the Fort Hood Installation Volunteer of the Quarter in Fourth Quarter 2014. She completed her Active Duty service as an Executive Officer for eight months in Fort Hood, TX as an E-5. Hubbard is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Instructional Design from the University of Boston.

The honorary color guard will be comprised of members of all branches of service, including the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. The members of the honorary color guard are all from units in Massachusetts.

Season Ticket Holders, Game Plan Holders, and Premium Club clients with a ticket to the Dallas Stars game on Thursday, November 5 were encouraged to donate their seats to local military members and their families through Account Manager. Fans were also encouraged to purchase Seats for Solider tickets for donation, giving local military members, veterans, and their families a chance to see Bruins hockey live at TD Garden in celebration of Military Appreciation Night.

Fans can also show their support by purchasing 50/50 raffle tickets, which will benefit the Fisher House of Boston, which has provided more than one million days of lodging to military families, and Skate for the 22 Foundation, which gives veterans a supportive, team environment through the sport of hockey. Fans can purchase 50/50 raffle tickets online now at BostonBruins.com/5050 or in game on the concourse at TD Garden behind sections 4, 16, 301, 315, and East and West Premium desks on Level 5.

Active Members of the military who would like to receive tickets can visit the USO New England website at uso.org/newengland. Veterans who would like to receive tickets can visit Massachusetts Fallen Heroes website at massfallenheroes.org.

The Boston Bruins will also have player signed mystery camo pucks available behind Loge 12 & Balcony 312. Pucks are $20 each and proceeds USO New England Serving Active Duty Service Members and their families.

Official Boston Bruins camouflaged Veteran's Day Practice Jerseys will be available at the ProShop on Level 2 of TD Garden, Gameday ProShop stores, and on BostonProShop.com. The ProShop and Gameday ProShop locations on the concourse offer 10% off with a military ID at all times. In conjunction with Military Appreciation Night, all members of the military will receive 20% off the night of the game.

The Bruins have once again teamed up with Red River and ’47 this season to raise money for Operation Hat Trick. Net proceeds from a special edition hat and t-shirt will provide financial assistance to support the recovery of wounded service members and veterans. This merchandise is available in the ProShop at TD Garden.
