Report No. 3 – Population, Land Area, and Population Density is among the series of publications that present the results of the POPCEN 2015. This publication provides information on the population size, land area, and population density by region, province, highly urbanized city, and city/municipality based on the data from population census conducted by the PSA in the years 2000, 2010, and 2015; and data on land area by city/municipality as of December 2013 that was provided by the Land Management Bureau (LMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Also presented in this report is the percent change in the population density over the three census years. The population density shows the relationship of the population to the size of land where the population resides.

Interest in these rock suites is reflected in the extensive geological, geochemical and petrological studies that have been carried out. It is only recently, however, that geophysical tools have found application in the study of these sequences. In the Philippines, the southern Zambales area was the subject of one of the few geophysical investigations applied on ophiolite complexes. The magnetic and gravity surveys conducted in the southern portion ofthe Zambales Ophiolite Complex defined a northwest-southeast linear feature which is believed to correspond to the Subic Bay Fault Zone. The fault zone was delineated on the basis of the steep gradients displayed by the magnetic anomalies and from inflections noted in the gravity contours. This structure is believed to be the tectonic contact between the central (Cabangan) and southern (San Antonio) massifs of this ophiolite complex. Recognition of the fault zone is consistent with a model which suggests that the San Antonio massif was a rifted unit from the Acoje block of the Masinloc Massif.

  • Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency
Republic of the Philippines Office of the President PHILIPPINE DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY Regional Office III Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, Brgy. Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga 2000 Email- [email protected] / Telefax-(045) 649-1009/ Tel No. (045) 649-1008 PREVENTIVE EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT (PECI) ACTIVITIES (DECEMBER2017) The increasing use of illegal drugs has significantly contributed to the incidence of heinous crimes in the community. Further, the proliferation of illegal drugs hampers the efforts aimed at promoting community peace and harmony and meaningful local development. Addressing the illegal drug problem is a shared responsibility between the national and local government in collaboration with the various sectors of society. Toward this end, the participation of the community plays an important role to address this social menace. The government, particularly the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), has come up with a program on the organization of Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) and the conduct of Barangay Drug Clearing Operation. Amidst the existence of such guidelines, the implementation and functionality of ADACs had been challenged. Perhaps due to lack of proper orientation of various involved stakeholders diminishing the said project to be of less priority, making them activated but less performing. Consequently, Board Regulation No. 3 series of 2017 was issued by the Board which creates the Oversight Committee headed by PDEA Regional Director. The primordial objective of such creation is to monitor drug-cleared barangays and ensure that the guidelines set forth by the board are properly and faithfully complied with. It is for this reason that this Regional Office, conducted series of Capability Enhancement Seminars for Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (BADACs) in order to equip the latter with sufficient knowledge, skill, information and update them on the various programs of the government in the campaign against illegal drugs.
