The critical part of the Order in respectof this garageis ClassE of Part I of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Amendment)(No2) (England) Order 2010. Observations o It is confinned fiom the planninghistory of this site that the land on which the garage is to be locatedis residentialgarden land. It is neitherin a ConservationArea or other DesignatedSite. The plans show a garageand it is consideredthat this is a building required for a purposeincidental to the enjoymentofthe dwellinghouse at 182. The total area coveredby this proposal and existing ones in the curtilage does not exceed50% of that curtilageexcluding the areaof the house;it is not forwardof a wall forming the principal elevation of the houseas that is the elevation facing the road and the garageis to be set back, the building is not more than one storey and does not exceedmore than 4 metresin height, and is more than 2 metresback from the curtilage boundary.As a consequencethis garageis permitted developmentnot requiring the submissionof a plaruringapplication.     North Warwickshire Statement of Community Involvement SUBMISSION CONSULTATION STATEMENT (REGULATION 28 STATEMENT) 1 Consultation under Regulation 25 1.1 Before preparing the Statement of Community involvement, the Council consulted with a number of bodies to gather their views on consultation in North Warwickshire. To this purpose, the Council used two methods to collect information, a questionnaire compiled by planning officers and the Council’s Communication Survey: Questionnaire 1.2 A questionnaire was compiled by planning officers and included in the delegate pack for the North Warwickshire Community Partnership day in July 2005. Around 100 people attended the partnership day, representing a number of organisations in the Borough. 1.3 Following on from this, in October 2005 a letter, accompanied by the questionnaire was sent out to over 100 bodies, including all parish councils within and adjoining the Borough and the various local authorities adjacent to the Borough. The list of bodies consulted at this stage can be seen in more detail in Appendix A and the questionnaire used can be viewed in Appendix B. A copy of the questionnaire was also placed on the Council’s website for people to download and submit. 1.4 In total 49 completed questionnaires were returned. Communication Survey 1.5 The Borough Council undertakes a yearly communication survey which looked into how the Council communicates with its residents. The survey was carried out by consultants during summer 2005 using a questionnaire which was sent out to 1,200 residents (please note that this questionnaire was different from the one mentioned in the section above).
