Today: Sharks vs Blues – Game 4 – 8pm ET on NBCSN

In Game 3, down 2-0 and 3-1 in the 2nd, St. Louis rallied at home, scoring 3 straight goals to take the lead into the 3rd. San Jose forced , however, after scored with 1:01 left in regulation and scored 5:23 into the extra session to give the Sharks the victory and series lead. After the game, much of the talk was about Timo Meier’s apparent hand pass in overtime that was not called and resulted in the game-winning .

Karlsson on Game 3: “I think we deserved to win this game. At the end of the day I think neither team drew the shortest stick on any of the calls out there so it was a fair game.”

STL coach Craig Berube: “Well, it's difficult to lose in overtime and in [the Stanley Cup] Playoffs anytime. We've got to move on and get ready for Game 4. Really, that's all you can do. We played a solid hockey game, but we're on the losing end of it and there's nothing we can do about what happened. We just have to move on."

SJ coach Peter DeBoer on his team’s supposed “luck”: “It irks me when you use words like that because this team has played (four) elimination games — not moments, games. Twelve to 15 periods of elimination hockey against Vegas, against Colorado in Game 7. So, I think it’s a ridiculous statement.”

Yesterday: Bruins 4 Hurricanes 0 (BOS wins 4-0)

The completed the sweep of the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night, winning Game 4, 4-0. With Zdeno Chara out injured, the Bruins were led by their first line (Marchand, Bergeron, Pastrnak), who combined for 8 points and all 4 goals. Boston dominated the series, outscoring Carolina 17-5 while winning three of the four games by 3+ goals.
