These two reports were published to deepen the understanding of Toyota Tsusho’s activities among all stakeholders. However, considering that both reports are closely related to one another and our goal of fostering an even stronger understanding of Toyota Tsusho among our stakeholders, we have started producing an Integrated Report from the fiscal year ended March 2015. In the preparation of this report, we have referred to the International Integrated Reporting Framework (International <IR> Framework) advo- cated by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (version 4.0) of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Environmental Reporting Guidelines (2012 version) of the Ministry of the Environment in Japan and the ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility. In addition to reporting on management strategies, our performance, and business activities, the Integrated Report covers subjects such as Toyota Tsusho’s Approach to CSR, which guides our efforts to resolve social issues and contribute locally through our business activities. May 19, 2014 Mitsubishi Corporation Marubeni Corporation Sumitomo Corporation Commencement of Sales of Thilawa Industrial Park Development in Myanmar A consortium made up of Mitsubishi Corporation, Marubeni Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation (“the three companies”) joined forces with Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holding Public Limited on January 11, 2014 to established Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Ltd., (“MJTD”). MJTD has been developing the 396 hectare “Class A Area” of the Thilawa Special Economic Zone in Myanmar, which is scheduled to open in the middle of 2015. The three companies, as Japanese marketing agents of MJTD, will start the sale of leasehold rights for the Class A Area (50 years + 25 years as optional) in stages from May 19, 2014. Any of the three companies may be contacted for details on these lots, such as the available lot size, rent and other conditions. The Class A Area is located approximately 20 km southeast of the capital Yangon, and offers various incentives as a special economic zone. This is a key location, not only for export processing bases, but also for production bases targeting domestic demand. The three companies will provide high levels of infrastructure and utility services by applying the extensive know-how they have developed in the industrial park business in ASEAN countries. Attracting Japanese and other foreign investment to the Class A Area will also contribute to job creation and the economic development of Myanmar. In addition, on April 23 this year, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a joint venture agreement for MJTD, making the development of Thilawa Class A the first public-private partnership business between Japan and Myanmar. -

The market for generic drugs in Japan has been expanding in recent years. Major Japanese pharmaceutical companies have undertaken mergers and restructuring, and an increasing number of foreign pharmaceutical companies have entered the Japanese market recently by establishing joint ventures with Japanese drug companies or granting distribution rights for their products to Japanese firms. 1. Market Overview The Japanese pharmaceutical industry, buoyed by a rise in income levels and growing awareness about hygiene after World War II, has grown gradually in line with Japanese industry. The introduction of universal health insurance coverage in April 1961 triggered a soaring increase in domestic demand for medicines. The brisk development of new medicines based on technologies introduced from the West has enabled the industry to respond more quickly to market needs. As a result, the Japanese pharmaceutical industry is now second only to that of the United States. Aim to realize hydrogen cost of 30 JPY/Nm3. ■ In the later phase, further endeavor to lower the hydrogen cost to 20 JPY/Nm3 to allow hydrogen to gain the same competitiveness as traditional energy sources after environmental cost adjustments are incorporated.
