Matchday 30 TIM 2020-21 10 - 12 April 2021 10/04/2021 15:00 - ALBERTO PICCO SPEZIA Vs CROTONE The last league draw between Spezia and Crotone was back in April 2016 (0-0 in ): since then, there have been three wins for Spezia and two for Crotone (including the 4-1 victory in the reverse fixture). Spezia won their last Serie A TIM home game (against Cagliari): they could win back-to-back matches at home for the first time in the competition. Crotone’s last Serie A TIM draw was against Udinese in December 2020: since then, they have won three games and lost 14. Crotone have conceded 2+ goals in each of their last nine Serie A TIM away matches: the last side to have shipped 2+ goals in at least 10 away games in a row was Catania, back in January 2014. Crotone are the only side yet to gain a point from trailing situation in Serie A TIM this season, whilst Spezia have earned 10, fewer only than Inter (14) and (12). Spezia have scored each of their last 10 goals in the second half: their last in the first 45 minutes of play was back on February 6th, thanks to Martin Erlic against Sassuolo. Crotone are one of the only five sides in the history of the Serie A TIM to have conceded 74+ goals after 29 league matches in a season and the first one since Pro Patria in the 1955/96 campaign. Diego Farias, who scored in the reverse fixture against Crotone, has failed to score in his last seven Serie A TIM games for Spezia: he last had a longer run with a single team in the competition in December 2019, for Lecce (eight matches). Crotone striker Simy has found the net in his last five Serie A TIM games and could become the first African player to score in six successive appearances in the competition in the three points for a win era (five also for Keita Baldé in 2017 and George Weah in 1996). In the reverse fixture, Junior Messias scored his very first Serie A TIM brace: he has been involved in three goals in Crotone’s last two league matches (two goals, one assist).

10/04/2021 18:00 - ENNIO TARDINI PARMA Vs MILAN Parma's last win against AC Milan in Serie A TIM was back in March 2014 (4-2) – since then, there’s been five Rossoneri wins and two draws. After the 2-2 draw in the reverse match, AC Milan and Parma could draw both matches in a single Serie A TIM campaign for the first time since 2007/08. AC Milan have netted in each of their last seven away Serie A TIM games against Parma: the last time the Rossoneri failed to score at the Tardini stadium in the top-flight was back in March 2010, under Leonardo. Parma have had the fewest wins in Serie A TIM this season (three): only 6.4% of the sides with three or fewer wins after 29 Serie A TIM matches in a season (3/47) avoided relegation at the end of the campaign. In 2021, AC Milan have picked up 26 points in 15 Serie A TIM matches (18 of these coming away from home) – five sides have gained more points in this period. AC Milan have won 14 of their last 16 Serie A TIM away games: drawing the other 2-2 v Genoa in December 2020 and losing 0-2 v Spezia in February 2021. AC Milan have dropped the fewest points from winning positions in Serie A TIM this season (two), while only Torino (25) have lost more than Parma (21) from leading situations. The next will be Jasmin Kurtic's 50th appearance in all competitions with Parma, he has scored in both of his Serie A TIM matches against AC Milan with Parma. Parma are the only side against which Theo Hernández has scored more than one goal in Serie A TIM: he has netted three goals for AC Milan against the Gialloblù (including a brace in the reverse match). Parma are one of three of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's favourite targets in Serie A TIM (10 goals, alongside and AS Roma): AC Milan’s striker scores on average a goal every 89 minutes against the Gialloblu, his best mins/goal against an opponent faced at least eight times in the competition.

10/04/2021 20:45 - DACIA ARENA - UDINESE Vs TORINO Udinese have won only two of their last 10 Serie A TIM matches against Torino (D3 L5), however, these two wins have come in the three most recent matches between the sides. Torino have won each of the last three Serie A TIM matches against Udinese played during the second half of the season, keeping a clean sheet in each. Indeed, the last Friulian win against them was back in March 2015, 3-2 under Andrea Stramaccioni. After a 1-0 win last season, Udinese are looking to win consecutive home games against Torino in Serie A TIM for the first time since 2013 (four in between 2006 and 2013). Udinese have lost their last two Serie A TIM matches, the last time they registered three defeats in a row in the competition was back in October 2020. Torino lost 0-1 against Sampdoria in their last away Serie A TIM match, last suffering back-to-back away defeats in February 2020. Torino have drawn more Serie A TIM matches this season than any other side (12) - only Villarreal and Nantes (both 13) have drawn more games than the Granata in the top-5 European leagues in 2020-21. Udinese are the only side yet to concede a single goal from a corner situation in Serie A TIM this season, whilst Torino have scored nine times via corners, fewer than only Benevento and Inter (both 10). Udinese’s Stefano Okaka has scored three goals against Torino in Serie A TIM, against no other side has he netted more in the competition. Indeed, his last seven goals in the Italian top-flight have come away from home, with his last goal at Dacia Arena back in January 2020 v Sassuolo. Torino’s has been involved in eight goals in his last 10 Serie A TIM matches against Udinese (six goals and two assists). Antonio Sanabria has netted four goals in his first five league appearances with Torino - he could become the fastest player to score five goals with the Granata in Serie A TIM (during the three points for a win era), with the record currently held by Iago Falque, who reached it in seven games.

11/04/2021 12:30 - INTER Vs CAGLIARI Inter have failed to score in only one of their last 37 Serie A TIM meetings against Cagliari (0-2 defeat in April 2013). Cagliari have won only two of their last 19 Serie A TIM away matches against Inter, suffering 12 defeats in the process (D5). Cagliari’s last Serie A TIM clean sheet away from home against Inter dates back to March 1992 (0-0) - since then, the Nerazzurri have scored 47 goals in 22 matches (2.1 per game on average). Inter have won 11 of their last 12 Serie A TIM matches (including each of the last 10), keeping the clean sheet in 67% of these games (8/12) – they have conceded only four goals in the process. Inter have won their last 11 Serie A TIM home matches: only three times have they had a longer winning run at home in their Serie A TIM history (1950, 1971 and 2011). Cagliari have scored the fewest Serie A TIM goals since the beginning of 2021 - just 10 goals in 15 games since the turn of the year. Inter striker Lautaro Martínez has scored four goals and delivered one assist in five Serie A TIM meetings against Cagliari, finding the net in each of his four such games as a starter. Cagliari’s Radja Nainggolan has scored six Serie A TIM goals against Inter, more than against any other side. Indeed, he played 33 top-flight games, scoring six goals, for Inter between 2018 and 2019.

11/04/2021 15:00 - MARCANTONIO BENTEGODI HELLAS VERONA Vs LAZIO After a 2-1 win in the reverse match, Verona could win both games against Lazio in a single Serie A TIM campaign for the first time since 1984/85. Lazio have won eight of the last 10 Serie A TIM matches played against Verona in the second half of the season (D1 L1). Lazio have won each of their last three Serie A TIM away games against Verona, one more than they had in their previous 20 matches on the road against the Gialloblù in the competition (W2 D9 L9). Verona could win two games in a row in Serie A TIM for the first time since January 2020, excluding an awarded win (3-0) v AS Roma in September 2020. After defeats against AC Milan and Atalanta, Verona could lose three Serie A TIM games in a row at the Bentegodi for the first time since May 2018: the last three home games under Fabio Pecchia. Lazio haven’t drawn any of their last 13 Serie A TIM matches, since a 1-1 against Genoa in January: 10 wins and three defeats since then for the Biancocelesti. Lazio have scored the most Serie A TIM goals in the opening 15 minutes of play this season: 10, the same amount Verona have scored in the first 30 minutes. Verona's Antonin Barak has already equaled his record in terms of goals in a single season in Serie A TIM, seven – level with 2017/18 for Udinese: Lazio are however the team he’s played the most minutes against without scoring in the competition (412). Lazio’s (149) could score his 150th goal in Serie A TIM, eight years and 228 days after netting his first - only four players in the history of the competition have reached this milestone in less time: Nordahl, Meazza, Nyers and Signori. Ciro Immobile has scored eight goals in eight Serie A TIM matches against Verona – however the Italian’s striker hasn’t found the net in his last seven league games, he has never recorded a longer streak with Lazio in the top-flight. 11/04/2021 15:00 - ALLIANZ STADIUM JUVENTUS Vs GENOA Juventus have won their last three Serie A TIM meetings against Genoa: they last won four in a row against them in the competition in 2008. Among the sides against which Juventus have lost at least one home game in Serie A TIM, they’ve lost the fewest percentage of such games against Genoa: 4% (2/53). Juventus have conceded at least one goal in their last five Serie A TIM matches and could record their longest run without a clean sheet in the since July 2020 (seven in a row under ). Among the first seven sides in the Serie A TIM table, Juventus have gained the fewest points against teams currently in the second half of the table (33 in 15 matches). Only Torino (12) have drawn more Serie A TIM matches than Genoa (11) this season; indeed, they have drawn five of their last eight league games (W1 L2). Both Juventus and Genoa have lost 10 points from winning positions in Serie A TIM this season; while, Juventus have also won 10 from losing positions, nine for Genoa. Only Atalanta (32) have had more touches per game in the opponent’s box than Juventus (31) in Serie A TIM this season – on the other hand, Genoa have made the fewest (15). Among the teams against which has found the net in 100% of his league meetings, Genoa are the one he has faced the most in the Top-5 European Leagues: the Juventus striker has scored in each of his four matches against them (five goals). Juventus’ has scored seven league goals against Genoa, including his first Serie A TIM hat-trick (August 2017) – only against Udinese (eight) has he scored more in the competition. 11/04/2021 15:00 - LUIGI FERRARIS SAMPDORIA Vs NAPOLI Napoli have won nine of their last 10 Serie A TIM meetings against Sampdoria (L1), scoring 2.6 goals per game on average in the process. This will be Napoli’s 2500th match in their Serie A TIM history (incl. awarded games) - they will be the eighth side to reach this milestone. Sampdoria have lost seven of their last nine Serie A TIM meetings against Napoli at the Ferraris (W1 D1), one defeat fewer than in their previous 44 such matches (W20 D16 L8). Sampdoria have drawn three of their last five Serie A TIM games (W1 L1), as many as they had in their previous 24 (W9 L12). Napoli have found the net in each of their last 17 Serie A TIM games: only once in the last 90 years have they had a longer run in a single top-flight campaign (18 in a row in 2016/17). Only AC Milan (+17) have gained more points this season compared to the first 29 match-days of last term than Napoli (+11) and Sampdoria (+7). In the last three Serie A TIM campaigns (since 2018/19) Napoli have hit the woodwork the most times (63) – on the other hand, only Sassuolo have been saved by the woodwork more times than Sampdoria (49) in the process. has scored one goal in each of his three Serie A TIM meetings against Napoli at the Ferraris for Sampdoria. He has scored eight goals against them in the competition: since 2000, no other player has scored more against them (level with ). After having overtaken (103), (105 goals) could now equal Attila Sallustro (107) as the fourth-highest scorer for Napoli in all competitions. Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne has scored six Serie A TIM goals against Sampdoria - only against Fiorentina (eight) has he netted more. Moreover, against Sampdoria he has won the most Serie A games (13).

11/04/2021 18:00 - OLIMPICO ROMA Vs BOLOGNA AS Roma are the side against which Bologna have won the most Serie A TIM games: 50 (D43 L52).

Bologna won their last league meeting against AS Roma at the Olimpico and could win two such matches in a row in the competition for the first time since 1959. AS Roma have found the net in each of their last 29 Serie A TIM home matches against Bologna - only Juventus versus Fiorentina (34 between 1983 and 2020) and Inter versus Udinese (31 between 1959 and 2010) have had a longer such run against a single opponent in the competition. AS Roma have failed to win their last three Serie A TIM games (D1 L2): only once have they had four in a row without a single win under Paulo Fonseca - in February 2020. AS Roma have lost two of their last three Serie A TIM home matches (W1), as many as they had in their previous 21 in the competition (W14 D5). Bologna have lost 10 of their last 12 Serie A TIM matches against sides starting the match-day in the top seven places in the Serie A TIM table (W1 D1). AS Roma have scored the largest percentage of their goals in the first half among Serie A TIM sides this season (58%), while Bologna have conceded the highest percentage in the second half of games (56%). AS Roma have gained 1.9 points per game on average (56% winning percentage) with Henrikh Mkhitaryan playing in Serie A TIM this season, whilst without him they have earned only one point per match (winning 25% of their games). AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko has scored five league goals against Bologna, all at the Dall’Ara; the Bosnian could fail to find the net in 10 appearances in a row for the first time in his Serie A TIM career (currently nine). Musa Barrow scored the first of his three Serie A TIM braces in February 2020, in Bologna’s 3-2 away win against AS Roma. He has been involved in 13 league goals this season (six goals, seven assists): the last foreign Bologna player to have had more in a single Serie A TIM campaign was Adaílton in 2009/10 (14).

11/04/2021 20:45 - ARTEMIO FRANCHI FIORENTINA Vs ATALANTA Atalanta have won their last two league matches against Fiorentina, only in 1942 did they win three games in a row against the Viola in Serie A TIM. After a 3-0 win in the reverse match, Atalanta could win both Serie A TIM games against Fiorentina for the first time since 1992/93. After a streak of 18 games unbeaten at Franchi stadium in Serie A TIM (W11 D7), Fiorentina lost their last home league match against Atalanta: 1-2 in February 2020. Only Crotone (one) have picked up fewer points than Fiorentina (five) against sides currently in the top 10 of the Serie A TIM standings. Atalanta have picked up 58 points in the current league season, only in 2019/20 did they have more points after 29 games in a single Serie A TIM campaign (60 points). In 2021, only Manchester City (45 in 17 games) have scored more goals than Atalanta (40 in 16 matches) in the Top-5 European Leagues. Under , Atalanta have won 54% of their Serie A TIM games, recording an average of 1.9 points - without the Italian coach they achieved 29% of successes in the three-points for a win era in the top-flight, with an average of 1.2 points. Giacomo Bonaventura played his first 99 Serie A TIM matches with Atalanta, scoring 14 goals in the competition between 2008 and 2014; against them, the Fiorentina netted three goals in the top-flight. Atalanta's (currently on 18 goals, level with his 2019/20 season) could set his record in terms of goals in a single Serie A TIM campaign. The Colombian striker played 19 matches, scoring six goals, with Fiorentina in 2019 in the competition. Since 2013/14, Josip Ilicic (110 games with Atalanta and 105 with Fiorentina) is one of five footballers to have played at least 100 matches with two different clubs in Serie A TIM, alongside Candreva, Higuaín, Palacio and Pjanic.

12/04/2021 20:45 - CIRO VIGORITO BENEVENTO Vs SASSUOLO Sassuolo are unbeaten against Benevento in Serie A TIM (W2 D1), only against SPAL (six) and Frosinone (four) have they played more games in the top-flight without a single defeat. Benevento (30 points) have pick up three times the number of points this season than they had after 29 games in their previous Serie A TIM appearance (10 in 2017/18). Benevento’s last Serie A TIM win at the Vigorito was back on December 20th (2-0 v Genoa): since then, they have earned four points in eight matches (D4 L4) – only between August and December 2017 have they had more top-flight home games without a single win (their first nine in the competition). Sassuolo have won their last three Serie A TIM away matches against promoted sides: only between 2015 and 2016 have they had a longer winning run in such games (four). After the defeat against Inter on Wednesday, Sassuolo could lose two league games in a row for the first time this season (they last did it in July 2020, against AC Milan and Napoli). The very first Serie A TIM point Benevento picked up was back in December 2017 under Roberto De Zerbi: 2-2 against AC Milan at the Vigorito, thanks to the goalkeeper Brignoli’s 95th minute goal. Benevento have scored the most Serie A TIM goals from set-piece situations this season (53% - 16/30). On the other hand, no side have conceded fewer goals, going on percentage, from these play situations than Sassuolo and Benevento (20% both). Benevento’s Marco Sau has scored four Serie A TIM goals against Sassuolo, only against Genoa (five) has he had more in the competition. Sassuolo’s Filip Djuricic has already scored as many goals he had in the last Serie A TIM campaign (five): he played 15 Serie A TIM games for Benevento in 2018 under his current coach De Zerbi.
