How can I examine the concentration of alcohol in “mogas” according to EN 228?

Basic alcohol up to a volume content of one % is permitted in “mogas” and at the same time desired to keep the flow path clean and open. To ensure the compliance with the boundary value, a sample of ½ lt. is filled into a calibrated testing bottle and mixed with a coloured reagent fluid. After shaking the liquids, the coloured particles flow into the measuring tube, from where the fraction of alcohol can be read. The measuring method is certified and the result is registered as a supervision proof into the tank filling record. The testing case can be delivered together with the IBC tank.
