Dramaturgy, Other Professional Theatre Experience

Translator and script advisor on Royal Court Latin American new writing workshops, 2003-present; translator for Royal Court International Residency 2004-14; interpreter in rehearsals and on public panels. In this role, well over one hundred plays translated in multiple drafts through playwriting process.

Member of ‘Out of the Wings’ Ibero-American theatre collective. Production management, marketing, social media management and website management for 2016-18 festivals of play readings. Directing, acting, and in 2018 conceived and facilitated theatre translation workshop for directors.

Global Queer Plays (, 2018). Conceived, pitched and co-produced this inaugural festival of LGBTQ+ play-readings in translation or from less represented parts of the English-speaking world. Convened and chaired post-show discussions, wrote follow-up article, and am involved in the plans for the project’s future iterations.

Trained actor with several years’ professional experience including West End and international touring.
