India is the 4th largest supplier of T&C to Germany after China, Turkey and Bangladesh with exports of all textiles and clothing to the European Union (EU) from India amounting to approximately US $ 8 billion. Germany’s imports of Home Textiles (including Madeups) from India amount to approximately US $ 1.91 billion out of which cotton made-ups constists of approximately US $ 1.1 billion making India the second largest supplier to the country after China.
