It ! Big 12-BIG EAST Battle will be GU’s first game in three weeks following a pause due to COVID-19 protocols. • Jahvon Blair leads the team in scoring with 18.0 ppg, tying for third in the BIG EAST. He is tied for first in 3-pointers per game (2.9) and second in free throw percentage (85.0). • Qudus Wahab (12.0 ppg) and Jamorko Pickett (11.5) are also in double figures. Pickett (8.7 rpg) leads the league in rebounding and Wahab (8.1) is third as well as third in blocks (2.5). As a team, Georgetown tops the BIG EAST in rebounding (42.5 rpg). • Providence comes in with an 9-7 record overall, and are 5-5 in BIG EAST play after defeating Marquette in overtime on Wednesday night. • The Friars are scoring 72.9 ppg, while allowing 71.1 ppg to opponents. They are shooting 44.2, and opponents are also hitting 44.2 percent from the floor. • David Duke (19.5 ppg) is second in the BIG EAST in scoring, while Nate Watson (18.0 ppg) is tied for third. Watson is pulling down a team-high 6.8 rpg. • Duke is second in the league with 4.8 apg, while Watson is shooting 62.0 percent from the floor to also rank second. GRAMBLING STATE (12/09/2000) AT MCDONOUGH ARENA. WITH GU’S PERFORMANCE AGAINST COPPIN STATE, THE HOYAS HAVE NOW SURPASSED 50 REBOUNDS NINE TIMES UNDER HEAD COACH PATRICK EWING AND HAD SIX GAMES WITH A REBOUNDING MARGIN OF AT LEAST +20.
