Windows to the rear and west elevations are high quality double glazed casements in hardwood (Sepele) by Mumford & Wood. The front elevation features traditional high quality hardwood double glazed sliding sash (brass pulleys and lead weights) windows to the first floor and ground floor bays; again by Mumford & Wood. The roof lights by Velux. The bays are constructed and finished in Iroko timber and have a zinc sheet finish to the roof. The first floor is a combination of original oak joists and their exposed supporting beams, strengthened with matching section new oak beams. There are many substantial period features. Exposed oak roof trusses, beams and lintels, stone fire places, solid timber panelled doors throughout with heavy architraves and skirtings.
