At the 2012 FEI Rolex FEI World Cup Finals, Rich Fellers and his incredible mount, Flexible, owned by Harry and Mollie Chapman, topped a two-horse jump-off after five rounds of competition. The last winners of this event for the United States were Katherine Burdsall and The Natural in 1987. But with his little horse that could, Fellers brought home the win once again. “It’s a difficult feeling to describe, it’s a unique, very special feeling,” said Fellers after his victory. “I went in there thinking I’ve got to win this, because I may not have another shot with Flexible, and he’s been just a great horse. I think it’s great for the sport in our country.
