Receiving the Eucharist is central to our Christian lives, the very heart of our faith and worship. Therefore only those children who come regularly and consistently to mass will be invited to make their First Holy Communion this July. Participating in the Mass helps us all to a greater understanding of the power of God’s love in our lives. I encourage you mums, dads, guardians and carers to come back to Mass and worship the Lord with your families in your church. Parish Mass Books: Year B part 2 (from Sunday after Pentecost) are delayed slightly at the printers. COUNSELLING SERVICE: Catholic Care offers free confidential counselling 0113 388 5400, 077 399 750 08 [email protected]. Pope Francis has appointed The Most Reverend Monsignor Arthur Roche, Archbishop and Bishop Emeritus of Leeds, as the new Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. We offer our congratulations to Archbishop Roche and will keep him in our prayers. Archbishop Arthur hails from our part of the world proving that there are no limits to what we can achieve if we pursue our vocation from God. It takes dedicated service and hard graft to unite our own prayer and efforts with the will of the Good Lord, our family and friends. Glory be to the Father, And to the Son, And to the Holy Spirit As it was in the beginning, Is now, and every shall be World without end. AMEN.
