Our annual Responsibility Report, based on the GRI framework and Mining & Metals Supplement, can be used by us, and by our stakeholders, to benchmark our performance against others in our industry. The 2014 Responsibility Report provides information on Barrick’s management of significant issues affecting our license to operate, including environmental, work- place, and social issues. The Responsibility Report, including a small Material Issues Summary Report, is located at the Responsibility tab on the Barrick website. Both reports can be printed in PDF format. The GRI Content Index table is located on the website. We have included a reference index for the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact and the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) Sustainable Development Principles in the table. ăă 1.1 Report Parameters ăă 1.2 Defining Report Content and Ensuring Quality ăă 1.3 Restatement of Information ăă 1.4 Significant Developments in 2014 ăă 1.5 Contact Information ăă 1.6 Recognition for Responsible Mining Practices in 2014 Barrick Gold Corporation 2014 Responsibility Report 1 ABOUT RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY SAFETY / ENVIRONMENT EMPLOYEES HUMAN SECURITY PRODUCTS ASSURANCE DATA GRI REPORT MINING HEALTH RIGHTS STATEMENT TABLES INDEX ăă 1.1 Report Parameters Reporting Period Report Boundary and Limitations The Responsibility Report is an annual report, consistent with This annual report and accompanying data tables contain previous reports.
