Anglia Ruskin University Anglia Ruskin University has a sports scholarship that is offered to students who compete at regional, national or international level. The scholarship is worth up to £1,000 per year over a three year period and is tailored to the needs of the individual. Further details of the scheme can be obtained by emailing [email protected] 3. Bristol University Sporting awards are available and successful applicants will have had considerable success at representative level. It would be unusual for an award to be given to a student who had not had International honours, at least at junior level. Coventry University Coventry University does currently offer a scholarship to elite athletes. There are two levels of award available, one is worth £3,000 and is a combination of cash and support such as strength and conditioning and physiotherapy. The other level of award is for students who compete at a high County or National level and is worth £1,500, again as a combination of cash and support. Edinburgh Napier Team Napier in partnership with the University provide funding and support University for Elite Athletes. To request an Elite Athlete Funding application form please contact: [email protected] Sports Grants are also available to students studying Sports Science Degrees and awarded by the International, Development and External Affairs department. Exeter University Does not provide Sports Scholarships for water polo athletes, but they may be eligible for a High Performance Individual Bursary. The application process will open in the second term of study at the University via the Sports Scholarship website. Scholarships and bursary amounts are for sporting expenses and depend upon an athlete’s expenditure in their sport. Nottingham Trent Water polo players would be welcome to apply for a sports scholarship via University the sports scholarships section of the NTU Sport website: https://ntu.ac.uk/sport/scholarships/index.html Nottingham Trent currently does not run a water polo team. However, NTU has entered the U-Polo league this season (2015) with the aim of BUCS entry next year.
