SHRI ADHIR RANJAN CHOWDHURY opposing the motion for introduction of the Bill, said: I am opposing the introduction of the Bill under rule 72 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Lok Sabha. This Bill is not in consonance with the Constitution. The Government has not discussed the issue with the State Governments. That is why I oppose the introduction of this Bill. * Hon. Members may kindly let us know immediately the choice of language (Hindi or English) for obtaining Synopsis of Lok Sabha Debates. SHRI BHARTRUHARI MAHTAB: As water is a State subject, the State Governments need to be consulted before preparation of this Bill but it has not been done. That is why, I oppose the introduction of this Bill. SHRI T.R. BAALU: The Government of Tamil Nadu is aggrieved of many disputes.
