Founded in 1915, The Notre Dame Glee Club recently celebrated its Christianos Burlotos Civil Engineering Richfield, OH centennial as a campus ensemble. The Club draws its membership from Gregory Corning Science-Business Wethersfield, CT all fields of study, and annually presents a broad repertoire of classical and popular works in several formal campus concerts as well as in dozens Joseph Cozzi Physics-in-Medicine Elmhurst, IL of informal performances at University events. In 2005 the Club toured Mexico Tim Jacklich Political Science Glen Ellyn, IL and Central America, and returned to Guatemala in 2009 with the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra. In the course of regular European tours the John Jakubowski Chemical Engineering Grand Rapids, MI Club has performed in Ireland, England, France, Spain, Austria, Italy, William Linczer Visual Communications Design South Bend, IN Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, and the Czech John Lyons Program of Liberal Studies Granger, IN Republic. Other international appearances include in Israel with the Kevin Warten Aerospace Engineering Fairfield, CT Jerusalem Symphony and in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Announcing a New Holiday Tradition: Glee Club recordings include Shake Down the Thunder (1989), Under the Dome (1999), In dulci jubilo (2001), Vive la compagnie (2005), and Beautiful Rain (2007), and On the Rocky Road to Dublin (2012), and Loyal Sons (2015). Their newest CD, Christmas at Notre Dame (with the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra) will be released this fall, and is available tonight on a pre-order basis.

Daniel Stowe has been a member of the faculty since 1993. In addition to directing the Glee Club, he is also conductor of the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra and the Notre Dame Collegium Musicum.
