Following his undergraduate career at Marist, Dembow returned to his hometown of Merrimack, NH and began coaching at Merrimack High School, from where he was a 2005 graduate. This came after two stints playing arena football as an offensive lineman during the spring and summer of 2009. Dembow is a 2009 graduate of Marist, where he studied history and adolescent education. He was an offensive lineman for the Red Foxes, starting all 44 of the team’s games from 2005-08. An All-MAAC honoree in 2007, Dembow served as team captain in 2008. He received his Master’s degree in educational psychology from Marist in 2015.

After his retirement from pro football, Riley became a voice for the world of football. His television appearances soon turned into a career in motivational speaking for universities and local school districts. His voice helped students to understand the pros and cons of a famous lifestyle. He encourages children to protect their dreams. Riley earned his undergraduate degree in public relations and organizational communication in 2002 from Marist. In 2003, he also earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the school. Riley began his coaching career as an assistant coach at nearby Arlington High School and in the Hyde Park school system. Riley resides in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and has two children, a son Larry, and daughter, Laurissa.
