Future Experience announces Consultants Council as Supporting Partner for first Terminal Design & Delivery Summit

Terminal Design & Delivery Summit taking place at Future Travel Experience Global 2016, 7-9 September, Las Vegas

Future Travel Experience (FTE) is delighted to announce the Airport Consultants Council (ACC) as a Supporting Partner for the first Terminal Design and Delivery Summit, which will take place at Future Travel Experience Global 2016, 7-9 September, Las Vegas.

The Terminal Design & Delivery Summit has been created to help those responsible for designing the terminals of the future get customer experiences right. Introduced in response to overwhelming industry demand, the Summit will place an emphasis on exploring how terminal design must evolve to accommodate the increasing role of new technology throughout the travel process. It will attract a variety of stakeholders, ranging from architects, airport planners, and engineering and design firms, to airport planning managers, corporate real estate executives, government agencies and financing companies, all keen to share their expertise and collectively define tomorrow’s airport terminal.

ACC is the latest in a long list of leading industry organisations to lend official support to the Terminal Design & Delivery Summit. McCarran is the official host airport, Burns & McDonnell is Lead Sponsor, Merchant Aviation is Bronze Sponsor, and Airport Terminal of the Future is also a Supporting Partner.

Daniel Coleman, Founder, Future Travel Experience, said: “We are thrilled to have the support of the Airport Consultants Council for the first Terminal Design and Delivery Summit. To deliver a meaningful education platform that inspires the future direction of airport terminal design you must have the support of those at the forefront of the industry, so this partnership with ACC is a natural fit.

“This independent conference will place an emphasis on ensuring all voices in this field are heard, it will offer future-focused and inspirational thinking, and it will provide a mandate to use design to create better passenger experiences. From creating immersive terminal experiences to assessing how technology and physical surfaces will intersect in future facilities, this forward-thinking Summit will play a crucial role in driving inventive thinking. We look forward to welcoming the industry to Las Vegas in September to help us define the airport terminal of tomorrow. As a show of appreciation for ACC’s support, we are pleased to offer their members a 10% discount on Future Travel Experience Global 2016 delegate and exhibition rates.”

T.J. Schulz, President, Airport Consultants Council, commented: “The ACC’s mission is to deliver excellence in airport development, which dovetails perfectly with the purpose of FTE’s new Terminal Design & Delivery Summit. By bringing together all of the key stakeholders involved in the design and delivery of new terminal facilities, this Summit will help to foster co-creation and the welcome sharing of expertise. The Airport Consultants Council looks forward to playing an important role in this debate.”

In addition to the Terminal Design & Delivery Summit, the 11th annual Future Travel Experience Global show will play host to “On the Ground” and “Up in the Air” conference streams, an inspirational end-to-end exhibition, interactive co-creation workshops, the 6th Future Travel Experience Awards ceremony, McCarran International Airport tours, and a memorable social and networking programme.
