JAMAICA CRAFT “Dance is everything I know, and what I am extremely passionate about – It chose me.” BIOGRAPHY Jamaica Craft is a Choreographer and Creative Director known for working with some of today’s biggest celebrities including: Usher, Justin Bieber, Ciara, Neyo, and Nicki Minaj. Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Jamaica developed her talent for dance naturally, without any formal training or instruction. Jamaica decided to take her natural ability and relocate to Atlanta, GA, in hopes of pursuing a full time career in dance. She then booked her first professional job as a dancer for MC Hammer. During these rehearsals, Jamaica would offer suggestions on how to enhance their performances, which eventually led to MC Hammer offering her the opportunity to choreograph a portion of the show. From there, she went on to work with 3LW, TLC, Usher, Ciara, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Neyo and John Legend. Currently, Jamaica is the choreographer for Usher’s UR Experience Tour, and also the choreographer for Season 2 of FOX’s hit show Empire.
