Hij werkte 50 jaar als gerechtspsychiater. Roger was gehuwd met Annie Decaestecker en samen hebben ze 1 zoon Benedict. Samenwoonden ze in de Poperingseweg te Ieper. Zoon Benedict is notaris in Tielt en gehuwd met Sofie, samen hebben ze 2 kinderen Géraldine en Charles. Roger en Annie kwamen op 21 oktober 2020 naar ons WZC wonen. We leerden meneer Deberdt kennen als iemand die nog veel bezig was met zijn werk als gerechtspsychiater, hij vertelde er graag over.
