Father and son are trying to misguide the people: Capt. Abhimanyu By : INVC Team Published On : 3 Nov, 2017 12:20 PM IST INVC NEWS Chandigarh, The Haryana Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu has taken strong exception to the statements made by Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, former Chief Minister, and Mr Deepender Singh Hooda, MP, on the financial condition of the state, and said that both father and son are trying to misguide the people by issuing false and misleading statements. But the people are well aware of the truth and would not fall prey to their attempts to destabilize the present government, Capt Abhimanyu said while addressing a press conference here today. The state government would expose their lies and bring out the truth in front of the people, he added. The Finance Minister said during the ten-year rule of the previous Congress Government led by Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, people had to face rampant corruption, nepotism and casteism. Now that the present government led by the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has instilled a sense of belief in the people by putting an end to the politics based on casteism and regionalism, they are unable to digest it. They are not only spreading casteisem but are also vitiating the atmosphere of brotherhood in the name of Jat agitation. Referring to the statement made by the former Chief Minister that when he presented the budget in 2014-15, the state had a loan of Rs 70,000 crore which had now increased to Rs 1,41,000 crore, the Finance Minister said in the 2014-15 budget, the loan proposed was Rs 70,900 crore but this was in addition to Rs 36,000 crore loan which included loan of Rs 25,750 crore on power utilities.
