This module introduces you to some of the artists and songs of the 1960s. You’ll hear about artists like: The Monkees Simon and Garfunkel Otis Redding The Beatles You’ll also learn other songs that have been played again and again by different bands. Outcomes By the end of this module you will: • Have listened to songs from the 1960s • Sung songs from the 1960s • Know some of the biggest artists from the 1960s • Be introduced to some of the technical aspects of music and song writing. Equipment Nil – unless you have a guitar and want to play along!
