PART THREE /THE TEACHER

Co-founded and taught at the International Play School, a special school for children between the ages of 3 and 4. Taught English and created the building blocks of a successful life for the children. The school has now been incorporated into the American School. The curriculum created by Viveck Vaswani and Meera Gandhi (the founder and first Principal) remains unchanged.

Viveck Vaswani creates and conducts regular workshops and seminars for new actors and directors and new corporate entities who wish to enter the film industry. These workshops are routinely packed to the maximum every single time.

Having MENTORED such hugely successful stars as Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena Tandon, Ashwini Bhave, Mukul Dev, Shruti Ulfat, Rehaan Engineer, Koel Purie, Boman Irani, Amaan F Khan, Anahita Uberoi etc. and such eminent directors as the late Anant Balani, Aziz Mirza, Vikram Bhatt, Sanjay Gadhvi, Sanjay Gupta, Gyan Sahay, Rahul Bose and Anant Mahadevan, there is a tremendous demand for his workshops, especially in the new corporate environment.

Viveck Vaswani is also an instructor and counselor at the Institute of Performing Arts, where he teaches grooming, Film history, English and success management to the final OYP students and works with challenged students of the Victory Arts Foundation as well as the children at Junior OYP.

Viveck Vaswani’s ‘Rough Book’ won Best Story at the Houston Indian Film Festival, Best Director at the Rajasthan International Film Festival, Best Story at the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival, Best Actress and Best director at LIFFI. The film is the first film on

5 education to be screened in Dallas for educators, under the aegis of UT Dallas and was acclaimed by Educators all over Texas who came to the screening. The film will now be available on Amazon Prime from June 2017.

Viveck Vaswani has been screening ‘Rough Book’ at Educational Facilities all over , using the film as a base for career counseling students, parents and teachers.

Viveck Vaswani regularly teaches a film course at the Education Trust (MET) as well as mentors the students, and works with them as a counselor. He teaches on the under graduate level as well as the post graduate students. He is also on the Advisory Board of MET.

Viveck Vaswani is also on the Advisory Board of Pearl Academy.

Viveck Vaswani is on the Board of Directors of the Atharva Film and TV Institute and is creating a brand new program on par with International media studies which will be taught from 2019 onwards.

Viveck Vaswani is creating a sustainable series of film, media and entertainment courses that are being taught at FTC, a initiative.

Viveck Vaswani is Co Founder of Crystal Pure Media and Entertainment, which will be producing feature film and other content for various platforms.

Viveck Vaswani also mentors a company called Digital Hash, and creates Web content of various genres for their portals

Viveck Vaswani has been a regular contributor, writing on myriad topics based on the film industry for the Indian Express as well as many trade magazines including Blockbuster, Trade Guide and Box Office India.

Viveck Vaswani also regularly contributes articles to Bollywood Hungama and writes the weekly film quiz for Box Office India and has been doing so for the past three years.

Viveck Vaswani does the fortnightly Box Office Roundup for a new magazine called Cine Buster.

7 Viveck Vaswani is also on the Advisory Board of the Dallas Fort Worth South Asian Film Festival, The All Lights India International Film Festival (Indywood), The Dehra Dun International Film Festival OF India (DIFFI) and the Lonavla International Film Festival of India(LIFFI). LIFFI 2019 will be, for the first time a film festival exclusively for students of film and media studies.

He has been actively involved with IMPPA and is a senior member of the Screen Writers Association, the Cine and TV Artistes Association and other film bodies.

Viveck Vaswani is one of the rare people who has specialized in consulting to those who wish to build studios, educational facilities and multiplexes. He has mentored the BookMyShow.Com team from the time they were a startup.

The Bengal Government wished to build a state of the art studio in on the banks of the Hooghly and they retained Viveck Vaswani to create the detailed project report.

Ramdev Film City built under VVs supervision is one of the finest studios to shoot in, right from its soundless air conditioning, to its height, to the way the makeup rooms have been designed.

Ramoji Krian is now building state of the art studio floors within Ramoji Rao Film City, and once these floors are complete in 2017, they will make all other studios redundant. All the new floors are virtual reality compliant in real time and ‘Golmaal4’ is the first film that will be shot there. VV is consulting with Ramoji Rao Film City and Krian, both on the University as well as the creation of the studio.

Viveck Vaswani also works with Meera Gandhi on the Giving Back Foundation, an international philanthropic venture which includes Cherie Blair and Hilary Clinton and which works on raising funds for various charitable ventures globally.

Viveck Vaswani is working on a project to build schools and studios across some countries in the UAE.
