PART THREE /THE TEACHER Co-founded and taught at the International Play School, a special school for children between the ages of 3 and 4. Taught English and created the building blocks of a successful life for the children. The school has now been incorporated into the American School. The curriculum created by Viveck Vaswani and Meera Gandhi (the founder and first Principal) remains unchanged. Viveck Vaswani creates and conducts regular workshops and seminars for new actors and directors and new corporate entities who wish to enter the film industry. These workshops are routinely packed to the maximum every single time. Having MENTORED such hugely successful stars as Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena Tandon, Ashwini Bhave, Mukul Dev, Shruti Ulfat, Rehaan Engineer, Koel Purie, Boman Irani, Amaan F Khan, Anahita Uberoi etc. and such eminent directors as the late Anant Balani, Aziz Mirza, Vikram Bhatt, Sanjay Gadhvi, Sanjay Gupta, Gyan Sahay, Rahul Bose and Anant Mahadevan, there is a tremendous demand for his workshops, especially in the new corporate environment. Viveck Vaswani is also an instructor and counselor at the Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts, where he teaches grooming, Film history, English and success management to the final OYP students and works with challenged students of the Victory Arts Foundation as well as the children at Junior OYP. Viveck Vaswani’s ‘Rough Book’ won Best Story at the Houston Indian Film Festival, Best Director at the Rajasthan International Film Festival, Best Story at the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival, Best Actress and Best director at LIFFI. The film is the first film on 5 education to be screened in Dallas for educators, under the aegis of UT Dallas and was acclaimed by Educators all over Texas who came to the screening. The film will now be available on Amazon Prime from June 2017. Viveck Vaswani has been screening ‘Rough Book’ at Educational Facilities all over India, using the film as a base for career counseling students, parents and teachers. Viveck Vaswani regularly teaches a film course at the Mumbai Education Trust (MET) as well as mentors the students, and works with them as a counselor. He teaches on the under graduate level as well as the post graduate students. He is also on the Advisory Board of MET. Viveck Vaswani is also on the Advisory Board of Pearl Academy. Viveck Vaswani is on the Board of Directors of the Atharva Film and TV Institute and is creating a brand new program on par with International media studies which will be taught from 2019 onwards. Viveck Vaswani is creating a sustainable series of film, media and entertainment courses that are being taught at FTC, a Suniel Shetty initiative. Viveck Vaswani is Co Founder of Crystal Pure Media and Entertainment, which will be producing feature film and other content for various platforms. Viveck Vaswani also mentors a company called Digital Hash, and creates Web content of various genres for their portals PART FOUR/ THE WRITER Viveck Vaswani has been a regular contributor, writing on myriad topics based on the film industry for the Indian Express as well as many trade magazines including Blockbuster, Trade Guide and Box Office India. Viveck Vaswani also regularly contributes articles to Bollywood Hungama and writes the weekly film quiz for Box Office India and has been doing so for the past three years. Viveck Vaswani does the fortnightly Box Office Roundup for a new magazine called Cine Buster. 6 Viveck Vaswani has written most of the films that he has produced including ‘Sar Ankhon Par’, ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’, ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ and ‘Rough Book’.
