Welcome to Hayden Amplification From Humble Origins Hayden Amps are a family run business named after Mark Gooday’s Mothers family name. Mark having marketed and sold a large number of guitar amps in his 33 years in the indus- try paired with the knowledge of amp guru Dave Green, who made a name for himself designing some of the world’s finest guitar amps. Together they were set for greatness. The legendary tube amp guru Dave Green Hayden’s chief designer, a down to earth north- erner who has been with the company since 2005. The story goes that when tweaking an amp design for a very well known, if not legendary guitar hero – who was insisting on even more top end in the circuit – he had no qualms about telling the rock star that enough was enough, he wasn’t going to add any more treble and wasn’t going to be persuaded other- wise. He has had over 20 years experience in top quality amplifier designing and building. Having previously worked on amplifier design for a number of our competitors achieving 3 Guitarist Magazine GOLD awards for his designs, four five star awards along with numer- ous guitarist choice awards along the way. Things really took off at Hayden with Dave head- ing up a team of very experienced designers and guitarists achieving new heights in style and tone along with more awards.
