This year, the Global Classroom in-school Big Challenge is known as Make It Right. Details on this challenge can be found in our previous newsletter and on the Global Classroom video http://vimeo.com/108993317

Since launching our event we have had a wonderful reaction to our fundraising efforts. In Primary over 500 euro has been collected via our winter card sale (cards all designed by students). We were stunned to collect over 630 euro in donations from students, families and friends of BISB at our Winter Concert on December 2nd! Secondary students raised a further 100 euro selling Mikulas chocolates and juice. Thank you so much for your generous support so far. If you wish more information on our project and fundraising, please email [email protected]

Over the following week, if you have a child in Years 7-11 they may bring home an envelope for donations. We are running a form competition to win a non-uniform day and pizza lunch party for the form which collects the most money. Due to the fact that classes vary in size, we will not just look at the total collected but also at which class raises the most donations per student. This means we have the potential for 2 classes to win a non-uniform day and pizza lunch. Thank you in advance for your support!

Last Wednesday, 3rd December, students from our Lead Secondary Group met with Mrs. Eastwood and Mr. Farthing to share the fund raising ideas they have developed. More information on each of their exciting projects will be shared at the start of next term.
