If you’ve been looking for a good reason to escape to Cuba, this is your chance! Your adventure for two begins with dinner at the private home of Tyge William’s Proprietors Darius and Sarah Anderson. You’ll view their remarkable Cuban art collection, dine on seasonal cuisine prepared by a master chef and indulge in the award-winning wines of Tyge William. Guess who else is joining? Legendary Sonoma County Winemaker Don Van Staaveren will be in attendance, pouring wines and sharing tales from behind the barrel.

Then, it’s off to Cuba, an island nation known for natural beauty, warm people, inspiring art, and the ultimate in cigars. Join an intimate group and the Andersons, who have pulled out all the stops for this fully-immersive expedition. You’ll explore Old on a walking tour to see Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armes, and Plaza San Francisco. Lunch will be served at El Rum Rum (Cuban slang for “gossip”), a dining destination steeped in rum and Cuban cuisine. Also, on day one, you’ll get together with world-famous Cuban Filmmaker Miguel Coyula for a meet-and-greet before you sit down to a luxurious dinner at Mediterráneo Habana, a farm-to-table, organic eatery in the heart of Havana.

Day two finds you in the company of Economist Rafael Betancourt who will be eager to discuss Cuba’s financial future over drinks and snacks. After this invigorating experience, head to lunch at Café Laurent, home of Cuba’s “chicest gastronauts,” before visiting the shopping district of Calle Obispo and Papa Hemingway’s favorite watering holes, La and Ambos Mundos. That evening, you’ll dine, wine and enjoy a performance by the Buena Vista Social Club by meeting with Cuban Sommelier Orlando Blanco and dining at Café Orient, one of Havana’s grandest restaurants. Get a good night’s sleep, because the following morning you’re headed to Hemingway’s House, and one of Havana’s museums, along with lunch at El Litoral. The evening’s entertainment includes dinner at Paladar Rio Mar and a meet-and-greet with the owner, Sommelier Alejandro Herrera, before experiencing an amazing show at the Tropicana.

What would Cuba be without cigars? You’ll visit the workshop of Jose Ernesto, Master Humidor Craftsman, at Humidors of Habana. You’ll dine at the home of José Fuster, a Cuban naïve artist specializing in ceramics, painting, drawing, engraving, and graphic design, where you’ll meet his son, Alex, before you head out to a cigar rolling demonstration and rum tasting with Master Habanos Sommelier Fernando Fernandez. Tonight? It’s dinner at Paladar La Guarida and a Salsa lesson at the . For history buffs, the next day delivers you to the Colon Cemetery, Cathedral of Havana, the San Jose Crafts Market, visits to artists’ private studios, dinner at the home of Artist Kadir Lopez, and a private concert with singer/songwriter Carlos Varela.
