I am directed to convey the sanction of the Prcsidcnt to the payment of Rs.13,5o,0oo/- (Rupees Thirteen laLkh fifty thousand only) to the ur Administration of Union Territory of Chandigarh (Without Legislature)as indicated in column 5 against each as Gol Sharc (100%) of grants-in- aid approved for procurement of 3 sets of Aadhaar lJnrollment Kits for each Project as mentioned in column 3 durlLng 2OI7-78:

2. one Aadhaar enrolment kit consists of De sktop/Laptop computer/Tablet (for children), scanner, printer, slap fingcrprint scanner, Iris scanner, and GPS device.
3. The release of grants-in-aid is srnbject to the following conditions:
The UT Administration shall procure 3 sets of Aadhaar enrolment kits for each Project. The kits shall be installed in thc olficcs of CDPOs which will function as Aadhaar Enrolment Agency.
11. ur Administration shall procure one Dcsktop computer based client, one Laptop compurter based client and one Tablet based client (for children) alongwith scanner, printcr, slap fingerprint scanner, Iris scanner, and GPS device for cach clicnt.
111. The ur Administration shall follow provision for GFR-?}L7 and all items of Aadhaar ernrolment kits shall be procured from GeM Portal only, strictly as per specifications of urDAr. The specifications can be ascertained from ull)Al or Regional offices of UIDAI.

V. The Aadhaar Enrolment trrits shali be uscd for Aadhaar enrolment of all beneficiaries of all IDBT schemes of Ministry of Women and Child Development.
4. This grant-in-aid is towardsi the non-recurring cxpenditure for procurement of Aadhaar Enrolment Kits for all DBT schcmes of Ministry of Women and Child Development. The payment is provisional and is subject to final adjustment in the light of the aurlited figures of actual expenditure for the year as a whole vide Ministry of Finance letter No. 2(19\-P.rrl6o dated 9.10.L964, as amended from time to time, addressed to all UTs Administration etc.
5. The Grant-in-aid is subject to the condition that, when thc Scheme is closed or abandoned, the receipt fronn the disposal of asscts, built out of the whole or a portion of the grant now sanctioned will bc sharcd bctween the Governments in proportion with their" respective sharcs in the capital cost to assets.
6 The expenditure is debitable to the '2235"-Social Sccurity and Welfare (Major Head) in Demand No. 99, Ministry of Womcn & Child Dcvelopment under sub-head; O2-Social welfare (.Minor Head) (sub Major Hcad), o2.ro2- Child Welfare (Minor Head), 42- Jlntegrated Child l)cvclopment Services Scheme, 01- Anganwadi Services, 42.OI.31-Grants-in-aid General 2OI7-2OI8 (Plan).
7. The amount sanctioned herein may be drawn in accordance with the instructions contained in the Pay & A.ccounts Officc, Ministry of Welfare letter no. G-27O17 l8O-P |P{/Grants-in-aid circulars dated 24.11. 1 98 I , as amended from time to time, i.e. the Union Territory Administration will draw the amount from the local treasury and then siend the vouchcrs to their Accountant Generai / Pay & Accounts Officeri for getting rcimburscment as per the procedure laid down in those instruction and also in accordance with the instructions contained in the erstwhiir: Ministry of Social and Women's Welfare letter no. G-27-17 182-85/ Grants-in-eLid circular datcd 23.11.1984.
8. The UT Administration may ensure that the funds released are utilised within the current financial year for plocurement of Aadhaar Enrolmcnt kits.
9. The pattern of grants has already been approvcd by the Ministry of Finance. This sanction is being iss;ued in conformity with the rules and principles of the scheme approved by t-he Ministry of Financc. W 10. This sanction issues with the concurrencc of IFD vide Dy.
